No Smyths or TRUs nearby, and the only toy stores near here are only selling RID2015 stuff and the AOE shelfwarmers.

Nah i got a lucky preorder at omegalock, i have all the wave 1 deluxes and voyagers. Looking for powerglide, bombshell and windcharger if you're anywhere near a smyths that has them left. I'm without wheels so speke and st. Helens are only viable when I can bribe a family member into driving me.

I really hope we get the Leaders Maybe Argos will get them like they did with the AOE Leaders but that is a big maybe

i had a thought, we got a white helicopter in alpha bravo, what if later in the line we got deluxes of a yellow drill tank, a blue submarine, and an orange firetruck. Classics Energon Optimus anyone?

Mate, I'll let you know if I see any Legends at my local Smyths. I'm after Powerglide and Windcharger as it is, and might take a drive to either the Chadwell Heath or Galleon's Reach (or both) Smyths stores on the weekend. I can grab them for you if I do.

i actually think that would be awesome. however....

something like that is kinda niche. not energon/superlink i mean, but specifically the limbs. since they were just drones originally but now magically have robot modes, they might be brand new characters which could be a hard sell. easy way to sell a hard sell? exclusive! and since the characters would be useless on their own, giftset!

can anyone else see takara doing this, with a chromey superlink'ish CW prime as center square?

could all be new characters like Alpha Bravo that all just happen to combine with Optimus, those who get the Energon reference will get it, the others will just think, new combiner team

Has any one turned Dragstrip into a leg and made a comparison to the rest? It appears Menasaur may stand taller.

BTW...got my preordered BBTS Wave 1 set today. Love them, have four limbs transformed waiting on Silverbolt! Kinda concerned with longevity of leg and shoulder joints on the Deluxes.

Not so. You need to rotate his rear spoiler section up onto the top of the car, then he's the same size as everyone else in leg mode. Seems like having the option to make him just a bit taller is a one off on dragstrip for now.

It may be to balance out against one of the Stunticons limbs. In the promo shots he looks a little short compared to Dead End when both are used as arms and the spoiler is flipped out of the way.

He's actually a little stumpy in arm mode compared to all of the aerial bots with the spoiler rotated around. Spoiler up for Leg mode, spoiler down for arm. Though, stumpiness aside, with the spoiler out of the way in arm mode, he can fit his blade weapon at just the right angle on that 5mm port so that it runs parallel to his arm like a Bloodrayne style wrist blade. Which is pretty cool.
