Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
It's too early to tell what they'll be doing for Defensor or Devastator, but seeing as how they went out of their way to create a separate, brand new line devoted to these Combiners, it's hard to imagine that Takara would call it quits after Menasor.NuclearConvoy wrote:Are TakaraTomy only going to be releasing Superion and Menasor as sets or will I be able to buy import limbs?

Think we'll be getting any other Gestalt teams from G1 after Defensor? Or is the line going to be too crowded with the auto bot car limbs (which I have no real interest In) and the torso remold like Cyclones?
Do we have any idea what Hotspot is being re molded into? I think he'll make a great Fire Convoy/Super Fire Convoy.

But can you buy Rook?

Rook and Offroad both look excellent and are entirely new molds for entirely new characters. Alpha Bravo is just Blades in an uglier colour scheme. And he has a dumb name. And he looks very out of place as part of the all-jet Superion. I honestly don't understand the thought process behind him. Other than Hasbro wanting money.

Nope, Offroad was made for First Aid as well (and Ironhide), just like the Alpha Bravo would be for Blades. Just letting you know in case you didnt and wanted to stay consistent. Alpha Bravo and Offroad are the same deal in every way. Actually no, at least Alpha Bravo is in the comic. Offroad is way more the odd man out simply because he comes out of nowhere. And unlike the Alpha Bravo mold, he will be reused once again this year for the Ultra Prime combiner.

At least Offroad has a different (and amazing) head sculpt than First Aid.

Check out the poster and sticker sheet below!

Am I the only one that thinks that stickers to make Alpha Bravo and Offroad more "G1" is abso-fraking-lutely hilarious?

You do realise that alpha bravos colour scheme is close to slingshots colour scheme (plus slingshot is dead/offline/sulking/heavily damaged/whatever in the IDW comics which Hasbro are using heavily for advertising) and as stated before; he's a helicopter for variety, looks better on toy stands
ZeroWolf wrote:Well you can always put blades on him but changing another guy for an attack copter isn't a bad idea. Though hopefully next time round hastak will play with the idea of the blades becoming swords for the gestalt

As is, though, I will just wait for the release of a Jet limb.
