We would also appreciate you ceased from wilfully misinterpreting our moderating.
Myself and shajaki are specifically referring to this post in particular:
peaces wrote:menasor looks like dogshit because of that stupid gimmick. menasor needs a 3rd party add on to even look respectable. what an option! superion lacks the option to look like dogshit since he is perfect.
There are other ways of phrasing that very same opinion without resorting to swearing. You are obviously entitled to and allowed to think that Menasor is the worst chunk of plastic in the history of things. Others can disagree and/or agree. We're just asking you to avoid multiple sequential posting and swearing (as the swear filter in this post picked it up, too). Again, thank you for understanding.

Now that you mention it, I can't find the Rules Forum anywhere anymore. IIRC, it used to be in the General Discussion Forum subforum area, but now I can't find it.peaces wrote:i didn't see a no swearing rule but ok...

It was slimmed down and streamlined. Burn's general announcement post substitutes it.

It doesn't. We're just asking you to dial it down a little.

Bottom line, I'd really love to have an entire lineup in... well... legends, basic/scout, AND deluxe. I'd seriously buy all three. It's a real bummer that Hasbro AND 3P have jumped the tracks in that simple task. That one company upsizing mid-stream was cool, but also a huge bummer. (They should have re-issued the smaller upsized as well, or vice versa.)
There were only 6 initial minibots. How tough is that to stick to your guns? Sigh.
But to REALLY get things off track... Flashback's signature image of HugSlinger is hilarious. Bravo.

I remember 9 but only because I remember the 2 variants and Bumblejumper.
Once I ran an Anime festival with over 6,000 attendees. Now... not so much.

.
That's why I love Prime First Edition Cliffjumper so much. For Once he had his own mold, and it was one of the best we ever got, and it was a deluxe.
Also, Cliffjumper does have a deluxe calssics toy all of his own

My order status says estimated 4/27 for a ship date. Although part of the order had an estimated date of 4/7 to ship out and it went out Monday, so cross your fingers.

No worries. However, for GDO cliffjumper, I saw it as a G1 redux using a Prime mold (it is not Prime series just as RTS strafe is not movie series). It was sold as a G1 redux just as Voyager Strafe was. Or do you not count the RTS Voyagers as G1 redux characters? Is GDO Springer not a G1 redux springer?

The answer, as I found out after getting the rest of the Stunticons (in Malaysia, though Motormaster isn't found anywhere yet) is that all the Stunticons have different leg transformations, and Dragstrip has shorter thighs (due to his sliding legs). When the thighs collapse, it doesn't collapse as much as the other Stunticons, who all have fancy folding mechanisms. (Breakdown also has short thighs so his feet do have to extend out to make his gestalt arm mode as long as the others.)

Yeah, I guess I'm just saying I'd love some minibot deluxe Hasbro actually PLANNED. You're right, we did get some really good homages from the GDO Asia... and Cloud... not to mention TFCC Subscription Service, which I also see as this style of homage. They're awesome, but it's admittedly with some limitations.
Have to say, I've loved all those above. The only one's I haven't jumped up and down about have been Bayverse repaints. Can't stomach a G1 repaint from a Bay toy. Too different.

Their emails were full of the usual stuff, 'we apologize for the inconvenience', 'we appreciate your business', 'we regret the delay' along with the 'if you have any questions contact us at _______' form signatures. And of course the obligatory 'we will inform you as soon as the figures ship'. Though they did not say when that might be.
So far, it looks like an indefinite delay, as they admitted that they 'have no idea' when the figures will actually arrive.
A sad day for those of us who expected news that our orders had shipped, and who were looking forward to being able to assemble Menasor at last....

Glad I explained it well. As for g1 repaints of Bay toys, I found they werent that bad. RTS Deep Dive, RTS Strafe, Generations Powerdrive, RTS Mindmaster, Sunspot, and Generations Brawl (scout) are all Bay toy repaints that fit well in my classics. Strafe is a bit off being so big but I think he looks awesome in those colors though. Granted, none of these toys were of characters that appeared in the movie so their designs were not as overly alien and complicated as the others and were easy molds to repropriate to the classics line. And I still find it fun how the Seaspray toy is both an official Bay toy and Classics toy at the same time. But can see how people wouldnt like that.

You good.
My understanding and interpretation of the RTS subline was that it was not so much a MOVIE line as it was a Generations line that drew its influence off the Movie at the time, the same way Generations fed off FOC, and now IDW. Also, according to TFWiki, SeaSpray was never intended to be a Movieverse fig, the just recycled him through the fiction, possibly to sell toys.
He was apparently intended to be this [G1] Seaspray according to Hasbro Q&A at the time, but his bio and later fictional appearances suggest otherwise, portraying him alongside live-action film-style characters. As of November 2010 however, Hasbro confusingly maintains that he is NOT a movie-verse character
As to what constitutes a "Bay Toy", I think that's more up in the air. Obviously, anything that was in the movie (Barricade, Ironhide) or is based on something in the movie (Incinerator). I think for me, RTS Lockdown is more "Movie figure" because of how faithfully he embraces the alien faces and exposed mechanical details, and a more true to life vehicle. whereas RTS(?) Lugnut doesn't have the detail, his body is mostly flatish panels around a frame and his face still is very much his Animated form.
