gaddangit. I just had to clear space for Menasor and Superion. I even thought I wouldnt pick Defensor up to save space for the eventual Bruticus...now after seeing these...dang it. Need more shelves.
I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part

Interesting that he has the Autobot insignia on his forehead. How many other Transformers have insignias on their head? The only one that comes to mind is Beast Wars Rhinox, with the Maximal insignia.
And indeed Transmetal Cheetor as well. He even got to use it as a G1-style scene bumper.

actually I think he will be offroad. From in IDW is an truck now I believe, unless they going for G1 with these.

If Hasbro wanted to give the Combaticons a fifth limb member then give this guy a new head and swords to stick in his wrist holes and I'll be more than happy to call it a G1-style Wreckage figure.
He also looks so much better with his foot/fist on top as his primary alt mode weapon, the same way Alpha Bravo and Blades are best with the part acting as landing gear.

Sorry I just dont see the faceguard the same way you dont see the piercing...
