Anyone else think Blackjack figure could be repainted with a new head into Goldbug? I've been wanting a good new legends size or even really small deluxe Goldbug.

Why not use the one that came out last year? It's deluxe sized.

That mold leaves a lot to be desired.
I could definitely see a great Goldbug from Blackjack, I think I'd be all over that.

So, yeah, thanks to shipping my POL last Friday, the CW Voyagers just dropped into my POL.

[Edit] Actually, I just received my 7-10 day warning. But still. The timing!!

I'm guessing Hotspot and Cyclonus.
Indeed, sorry. I hadn't had my coffee yet. BBTS will ship the wave with Hotspot and Cyclonus within a week or two...

Well the Hasbro TF App showed a pic of Bumblebee seemingly based on the Blackjack mold so maybe

He looks like a lot of Throttlebots to me. We could get white, read and blue versions and you know what? I'd buy 'em. IMO recoloring him into Hotrod is a missed opportunity.

Yeah, My brother and I collected all the Throttlebots when we were kids, it would be great to get new versions of them
A deluxe CW Hot Rod would be better kudos to air-hammer over at Deviantart for this pic

Mainly because it doesnt look like Goldbug to me and its too big. Like someone else said the mould is not the best either and I already have Nightbeat with it. The gold plastic on it would look tight on the Blackjack mould though as Goldbug

Thanks I had forgotten all about them showing that Bumblebee repaint, so maybe. Goldbug I want mainly but I would also really like a Searchlight if they could mould some lights on him.

Ditto! I wish Hasbro would have been consistent and continued with the cards as I was keeping all my cards (including 3rd party cards) in collectible cards plastic sleeves. Now it's going to look like I have incomplete combiner teams.

Totally agree on the cards. I'm already collecting the comics, so these are just dupes. sigh.
BUT I know it's to try to bring new kids on board with reading comics. Ah well.

While I Really like having collector cards, I think they could've been far better, the cardboard used feels kinda cheap and they should've AT LEAST have included the tech specs :/ or I don't know, artwork of the TOY, as nice as the actual artwork is, most don't resemble the figures at all. ¬¬

Yeah, I remember how sad it was when they stopped giving actual bios and tech specs on packages. I really miss that.... and saving 'em.

BBTS already had the rest of the Protectobots to ship. I was just passing on the news that Hotspot (and Cyclonus) will be coming in real soon. Tis a big deal to us collectors using BBTS POL. Sorry if I was unclear before...

I'm working on the gallery of Combiner Wars Streetwise and the rest of the Protectobots this week. Doing comparison shots of Streetwise with Dead End and Brake-Neck made me realize that it's a shame that Brake-Neck wasn't a remold of Streetwise instead of Dead End. I really wish they had done Streetwise sans police lights. He would have ended up with the shotgun and new head which would have helped differentiate him more from Dead End and to give the appearance of having 5 distinct vehicles. It's a bummer they didn't do this.
I'm OK with Quickslinger sharing the same body and vehicle mode with Firefly because all of the Aerialbot limbs were relatively similar vehicle and robot mode whereas the Stunticons were more distinct.

Small issue ayway but the card art on Dragstrip still rendered him with 6 wheels. Wished HasTak could have recreated that.
