You know what, It's kind of a toss up between Dragstrip and Off Road, as far as "my favorite" goes.
I by no means hate Dead End. I do really like his Alt mode, heck I even gave him an unofficial flight mode. His robot mode, esthetically is just sloppy to me. He almost has a boarder line movie esthetic ( which I won't go into
I'm surprised that Breakdown gets so much flak. Out of all the Stuntipunks he is, esthetically, the most Geewonese. I agree his engineering is wonky at best, but his head sculpt is great. It looks just like the old G1 head/combiner peg.
I feel like making a Willy list, just for fun.
Fav to least fav:
1 Dragstrip
2 Off Road
3 Motormaster
4 Breakdown
5 Dead End
and as far as configuration:
DS - R arm
OR - L arm
BD - R leg
DE - L leg
I like having the hoods of the sports cars flipped up as knee pads. I love Off Road as an arm because the hood makes a cool shoulder.
Off course, I'm SCRAMBLE CRAZY, so it could all change at any second.

Keep in mind, that's not necessarily a positive.
I have Drag Strip, Brake-Neck, and Motormaster - none of the wave 2 Stunticons have shown up in my area, but the ones I have, I LOVE.

They will come. They have to. Check this wonkieness. I have yet to see Wave 2 Deluxes anywhere at retail. I was lucky to find MM. There is a Target I frequent. I have never seen any CW toys there until the other day I found wave 3 Legends!?!? Luckily there is another Target 4 miles away who has had a lot, but no W2 Ds.megatronus wrote:I have Drag Strip, Brake-Neck, and Motormaster - none of the wave 2 Stunticons have shown up in my area, but the ones I have, I LOVE.
MegaT, your in the Apple so I bet you will find them soon. The problem with being in NYC, I bet, is collector competition.

Does anyone need a Megatron? My local Walmart has two of each sitting on the shelves. I can help out.

Oh, competition is definitely present. Looking at you, mooncake!!!
One of the problems with a place like NYC is product saturation. Thankfully, there are 3 Targets and 3 TRUs in the NYC-area that are easily accessible to me. I'm not sure about TRU, but all 3 Targets receive product from the same localized distribution center, so if, for example they have a backlog of Wave 1 in the distribution center, all 3 stores will end up with the same product for months.
Same idea (though somewhat different in execution) with TRU Times Square, the store I visit the most often (thank goodness for price match). Because the Transformers display is so massive (I know, I shouldn't complain), and sell-through might take a very long time, they will occasionally skip a wave altogether, or end up putting things out on the shelves months after it shows up everywhere else.
I'm not too worried - things will show up here eventually. And if they don't, I'll buy online. But I must say I'm quite jealous of the folks who have wave 2 or are already seeing wave 3 at retail!

EXCELLENT!!! All the usual suspects? Target, Walmart, BBTS, Toys R Us? I remember someone posting that HTS will not carry them immediately, is that right?

They were both up on Walmart.com this morning as well, but it looks like they've since sold out.

I have never seen distribution this strange in all my years, and I have lived in many cities since I've been collecting. I know the port strike has a lot to do with it, but have retailers changed their ways or something? I mean the distro for CW is just all over the place.

This is what Hasbro said
May 22 – AERIALBOT QUICKSLINGER and STUNTICON BRAKE-NECK will be available exclusively through participating online retailers, such as Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Target.com, ToysRUs.com, Entertainment Earth, BigBadToyStore, Diamond Comics and Hasbro Toy Shop. With these two new figures, fans are finally able to complete their G1-accurate SUPERION and MENAOR figures! In addition to these all-new toys, several vendors will be running special promotions on TRANSFORMERS GENERATIONS: COMBINER WARS figures, providing fans with an ideal way to complete their collections.

They will be more and more available as the 22nd of May date draws near. They are already listed at Walmart: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Transformers-Generations-Combiner-Wars-Deluxe-Class-Quickslinger/44723853
So bookmark that link to get it once it gets back in stock.
I would not compare G1 to Combiner wars aside from aesthetic. because engineering-wise, it is completely different. The heads are no longer the ports and the ports themselves are articulated now so it's a whole new ballgame. It seems that this time around, because there is a more involved transformation for the robot chests than in G1, what is favoured is the alt mode showing more for the limbs. While G1 looked like a bunch of robots getting together to form a bigger robot, CW Menasor is more a bunch of vehicles coming together to form a giant robot (kinda like what the third party Menasor did).

At the very least, it means it's not coming this year. We've heard whispers of CW Combaticons coming, yet the game chose to base its Combaticons on the 1986 G1 toys instead.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:So... does this mean a Ratchet retool of First Aid is off the table?
