I know this is a way-too-early debate, but that's why we're here. What do you all think?

Although, actually, you're probably right... Obviously, the G1 toy was red, and it looks like the majority of merchandise over the years has followed suit. The only (transforming) exception I see is canceled Hasbro release of the Scout class tank version. So I would be unsurprised if this Rumble was also red.
That being said, I am glad that, even if officially they were intended to be the other way around, both those Scout class tanks and the Masterpiece cassettes have allowed for the possibility of the blue one having pile drivers. In the case of the Scout class tanks, of course, they were built into the mold. So it would have been hard to do otherwise.
If this Rumble is, as rumored, a recolor of Groove, I doubt he will include any pile driver gimmick, though. So if a Frenzy hopefully follows eventually, the lack of pile drivers should make it just as easy for anyone so inclined to mentally swap the two.

I was mainly being tongue in cheek. I'll be a bit disappointed if it is a groove repaint, but I dunno what else it can be :/

Well the Combaticons are a no-brainer. Will Rewind and Rumble both share the same Groove mold? Is Wreck Gar part of this too?
Also, didn't we already get a Trailbreaker like two years ago?
Am I the only one that sees a possible Soundwave out of Rook (last time I checked he was an APC, right?).
If not, do you think Onslaught will be a retool of Hot Spot,
and then a Soundwave from Onslaught?
Oh, and any news of Combiner Wars Legends Rodimus and Skywarp?

He meant a repaint of legends groove. All of these cassettes are to be legends class, right?

I don't know where you are, but they have just started hitting Louisiana. I hope that helps ease the stress a little.william-james88 wrote:He meant a repaint of legends groove. All of these cassettes are to be legends class, right?
I believe that is the current rumor. I'm good either way. I will never say no to Soundwave or his lil buddies.
SillySpringer wrote:Also the rumer is that Soundwave will be a remold of the Prime/Motormaster mold, and the limbs will be the cassette minions.

That's not even a rumor, just wild conjecture and wishful thinking.

I wont be getting those limbs. While I do like the characters and would like to have them as part of my collection, I would rather get their older Universe molds or wait until there are new ones that arent affected by the combining gimmick. Take Ironhide, one of my favourite characters. What is iconic about his look is his clear chest piece. The combiner peg would totally change that aesthetic and I have no care for it. I would rather wait for a better ironhide, I don't mind how long that takes. I could even use Arms Micron ironhide to repurpose him, he was decent and had the nice chest. I am not a big fan of redecos anyway and this wave is a perfect way to save money for the upcoming combaticons and technobots. In my classics collection, I would rather have these important autobot characters like Prowl and Sunstreaker unique from the combiner wars limb molds.
Why are you still ranting about that.
Firstly, you are just using your area to make wide statements about everywhere. And that isn't true. Do I have to show you those pics again? My toysrus is full of nice wave 2.
And don't cry wolf about online. TF source is getting more combiner wars wave 3 deluxes in June. If you preorder them now, you'll get them when they come back in stock.
Lastly, HTS should not be the standard to judge a toy's availability. How many times must we say this?... Wouldnt it make sense that your store orders more and thus there is less for HTS to have on their site?
SkyQuake101 wrote:I'll probably get all of the Prowl, Mirage, Sunstreaker, and Ironhide limbs. Like most, I wish Hasbro would make more unique molds to better fit how they traditionally transform, but at least the remolds have been pretty good of other figures. I sort of wish they would make Prowl out of the new Groove limb mold (he was a motorcycle once), simply because it's going to be weird having two Grooves... Defensor will be in a Double-Groove, I guess.
