With as chunky as Combiner Wars limbs are, I don't see how to do six, and have them move independently. Four was pushing it.

In order for my purchases to count towards UK/EU stock triggers, I need to buy in store.
That means I should stop pre-ordering online at Kapow or TFExpress, and start going out on the hunt.
But then if I don't preorder a wave, I end up potentially missing out OR having to pay scalper prices to catch up.
It's a bit of a catch 22.
Anyway. So begins the great Air Raid shortage of 2015.
This is already happening. Scalpers are rubbing their hands.

Forgive my ignorance (I'm just getting back into Transformers after a couple decades), but why not just pre-order a UW-01 from an etailer and get the entire set together all at once? It cuts down on the shipping and import fees of multiple smaller orders, and you'll get it all together. I get that UW-01 will be slightly different in some colorations from Superion's Hasbro released Combiners, but if anything it should be more authentic to the comics/cartoon, and I believe it comes with all 5 jets including Air Raid.

All limbs are pretty interchangeable, so its really just what color coordination you prefer. I only have two issues though. AB's propeller throws off the look for me. And while QS looks amazing, his snow white really clashes with Silverbolt's off-white. So while Superion looks great, it just leaves me clamoring for UW-01.
You don't have Blackjack?shajaki wrote:Stunticons:
I love MM and there's no doubt in my mind that he was the one meant for that mold. Dragstrip is stylish, Breakdown is boxy and fun, and both are equally pretty great. Deadend LOOKS great till you get to the feet... but its a big point of contention for me, which subsequently hurts Breakneck as well. Offroad is in a league of his own and is the standout member of the team for me.
Menasor:
BD is way too bulky as an arm, DS looks terrific as an arm, Offroad as an arm brings some much needed blue to the Gestalt, and DE just kinda falls into place as a leg by default. So for me, Breakneck becomes the outcast.

I do, but as a chest piece he's fiddly and frankly I think Menasor looks better without him.Rodimus Prime wrote:You don't have Blackjack?
Uhg. I couldn't agree more. It's why I see no need to get Redneck. Plus we have Streetwise and Prowl sharing this foot look.shajaki wrote:Deadend LOOKS great till you get to the feet... but its a big point of contention for me, which subsequently hurts Breakneck as well.
Again, I couldn't agree more. There is just something about him that tickles my fancy bone. MegaT is right about the shoulder "paldrons", but I like him so much I'm willing to over look them. I've almost considered getting another set of 4 ORs to roll with Galvatronus.shajaki wrote:Offroad is in a league of his own and is the standout member of the team for me.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
And from what we've seen, the white used across the board on UW Superion is snow white. Which is seck-SAY.jay5 wrote:Yeah, I'm hoping UW-01 goes for more consistent whites/off-whites across the set so Superion ties together a little better.
I know he's pretty, but its lame to suck up when Va'al isn't even presentmegatronus wrote:I agree on Alpha Bravo throwing everything off, but the solution isn't to get rid of AB... it's to get a second one!![]()
It really does. I took the pics in my basement/family room instead of the upstairs living room (where I usually photog) and the lighting is much different.megatronus wrote:Also, on this pic:
The whites on the deluxe figures are definitely very rich and vibrant compared to Silverbolt, but I think your pic makes Silverbolt look more off-white and saturated than he really is.
But see... for some reason I'm SO looking forward to Streetwise. Maybe its the shotgunCobotron wrote:Uhg. I couldn't agree more. It's why I see no need to get Redneck. Plus we have Streetwise and Prowl sharing this foot look.
I think the paldrons are great kibble! And Cyclonus will get sweeps one day. Botcon or someone will do it!Cobotron wrote:Again, I couldn't agree more. No no, me too, and Prowl! SW's head sculpt looks really cool. Logan had thrown up some pictures a while back and he made Streetwise look great.shajaki wrote:But see... for some reason I'm SO looking forward to Streetwise. Maybe its the shotgun
Ya know if you just push the back pack back outa the way, they're really not an issue.shajaki wrote:I think the paldrons are great kibble!
For sure. I know it to be true. I can just feel it deep down in my bones. We are going to see a lot of cool exclusives made from these guys down the road.shajaki wrote:And Cyclonus will get sweeps one day. Botcon or someone will do it!

william-james88 wrote:I tried Offroad as an arm but I had a problem with his robot arms in that mode. They dont peg well. And yeah, breakdown is boxy but I feel he works pretty well. I like his sleeves. And that keeps offroad and deadend with the ability to make knee pads adding a bit of symmetry while keeping distinct molds. I will be getting brake neck too since an opportunity arose so I might change my opinion but I like my menasor being made of different molds all throughout.
