Hey I know we are talking about new stuffs that hasn't made it to market, but I just spotted CW Ultra Magnus at a local Target. First I've seen/heard of in Louisiana.

I got mine some time ago via HTS.

He hasn't made his way to South Georgia yet, so I got him from TRU.

We have a major port so be on the look out surrounding area.

YouTube reviewer Optibotimus has a review of Combaticons Blast-Off up. He also name drops having Brawl in the review. Hopefully this means we will see them in stores soon.

Having just watched the review, I find it interesting that his bio talks about how he was required to scan a jet mode by Onslaught after getting captured and released and how he does not particularly like it much, plus how lonely he is in orbit by himself.

I'm happy and look forward to getting him

At least he is supportive of the jet blast off (Jet-off?) and is ok with it not being a shuttle (blashuttle?) since it makes sense. I agree too, I'm good with him. Plus he just posted a picture on facebook and the combaticon limbs (combatilimbs?) all look good together.

All the fans said they were happy with a legends groove...until they saw Takara's Defensor. I dont expect this to be any different. We are happy with what we have until we see something better.

Yeah but I'd sooner wait than pay out the a$$ for an underpainted copy of a combiner I already have though, same goes for this set

I dunno, any spare that might be packaged with sky lynx... or just to swap out as swindle looks great on his own... I just like having extra options with this line, the lack of it in the side is my biggest problem with it.

Yeah, you're right about that. But at the same time there are still lots of people who are happy with the hasbro versions, all things set aside. And even if they want takara over hasbro, many times the hasbro version will still be bought and they won't want to spend the money to get a little different copy.

As we are now at mid-November, we are starting to see reviews pop up for the Generations figures making up the first wave of Combiner Wars 2016. Fellow Seibertronian Optibotimus has reviewed Generations Combiner Wars Blast Off. This is the most controversial of the set since, while Combiner Wars Bruticus has all his original members being released at standard retail (unlike what has appeared in every Combiner Wars wave so far), Blast Off's alt mode is the only one to have changed drastically; going from a space shuttle to a jet, and a repaint no less. Thus, this is the toy people were most hesitant for and it is good to now be able to see it in a review.

Reading up on his facebook page, by the end of the week all the combaticons will be reviewed: Brawl on monday, Vortex on wednesday and Swindle on Friday. He also said that Brawl is actually not impressing him, as he has very loose joints and the chest is a mess. We'll just have to see when that review comes out tomorrow!

He also said that Brawl is actually not impressing him, as he has very loose joints and the chest is a mess. We'll just have to see when that review comes out tomorrow!

Loose joints are subjective, usually fixable, and varies case by case; I wouldn't be too worried

I like the way you see things and I see them the same way too. I dont need him to be a space shuttle per say but what would be fun about a space shuttle would be the assurance that we are getting something new with this figure. Since there is nothing new about the molding here, the toy feels like it is giving less added value aside from having another jet limb but now in a different colour.

We reviewers don't get as many privileges as people seem to think lol. No i didn't get Onslaught but i have that preordered as well. I had heard a rumor that him and SCattershot were due in Monday at retailers. Not specifically BBTS mind you. But it should be soonish i would imagine.

I saw it was posted on some ebay page selling them. They said they were coming in stock on Monday for them. I would imagine it would be soon for the other online retailers, maybe a little later for actual stores

So what is it about Brawl that makes him so dissapointing? Is it just on the looseness?

I'm not worried, more like impatient. I really want to see Swindle and Brawl, and I am very excited for the combaticons to come. I just want to see some reviews!
