Well, the pictures look half-credible, but there's two reasons
that I don't believe this:
1. It comes from 4chan.
2. I can't think of an event going on right now at which Hasbro would display these images.

For one, the Transformers logo on the right side is in the wrong font face. It's more akin to the font used in older lines than the one we have today.
Plus, there's also a distinct lack of any Generations subline imprint logo. No Combiner Wars logo, no Titans Return logo, nothing. Hasbro's big on categorizing its figures these days so we'd likely see some sort of subline branding logo if these were real.
And the format and layout are wrong. The header's inaccurate, there's no "Authenthic" logo in the corner, there's no quarterly release date/year, and there's the aforementioned lack of a subline brand label. Compare with these slide pics taken from this year's BotCon, SDCC, and NYCC respectively:
Not to mention that there's no event going on right now that all the big sites would be covering such a reveal at.

Which is probably why he prefaced it by saying these were basically fake and not to believe any rumors spawned by it![]()

Yes, he does. I have Cyclonus with the Stunticon limbs, even the purple hands and feet go well with him. And to mirror him on the Autobot side, I have Silverbolt combined with the '84 bot limbs, except Prowl, who has swapped places with First Aid and is a leg for Defensor. First Aid and Ironhide make up the legs for Superion.Hellscream9999 wrote:itscramtastic wrote:Saw CW deluxe Ironhide, Prowl, Sunstreaker, and Mirage today at my local Walmart. They work really well, the bright colors really make the molds pop, and Galvatronus is great, definitely get him when you get the chance, as he makes for a much nicer torso than MM

Originally I tried to stay faithful to G1 Defensor's configuration, where Groove and Streetwise make up the legs and First Aid and Blades are the arms. Obviously with Groove being a legends class figure (genius move, btw, keeps them in scale somewhat) that is impossible, thus Prowl's initiation as an honorary Protectobot. And as I type this, I have an epiphany: put First Aid back on as an arm, and use Rook as a leg for Superion.Hellscream9999 wrote:Yeah, first-aid makes the best leg mode, and not too shabby an arm mode either

Also, when is Scattershot supposed to be released again? I have a feeling I should have held out for him instead of getting Silverbolt by himself (just recently sold all my other Aerialbots) because he is a solid red color and would match up better with Cyclonus visually. (Also, red and purple are the colors for Autobots and Decepticons, respectively.)

Hound is a repaint of Rook? Will Ironhide be repainted into someone else?Hellscream9999 wrote:The 'knee-pad of death' is a little awkward, but he makes the scariest arm, it's bulk is comparable to first-aid, but the only way to truly even it out is to get hound

Hound is a retool of Swindle, who is a heavy retool of Rook.
Oh sweet, I love that mold. I have Offroad and I'm not even using him in a combiner. Looks like I'm picking up both Hound and Trailbreaker. Anyone else being released aside from the Combaticons?Trailbreaker is a retool of Ironhide (with a new head and gun arm).
