Anyway, getting back on topic, I finally got my hands on them new-fangled Combaticons (minus Onslaught), and I must say, they are good (except for Brawls torso).

Swindle is hands down the winner of the set (though I suppose it could be a biased opinion, given that he is my favorite Combaticon in general). I have always loved the Rook mold, and it works so well for Swindle.

Blast Off is my second favorite, to my surprise. Firefly was my least favorite CW Aerialbot, as I didn't like the look of his backpack and he was loose. However, with Blast Off, the backpack is less noticeable and his joints are tighter.

Vortex is my third favorite, but there's not much to describe here as he's just a blue/gray Alpha Bravo with tighter joints.

Unfortunately, all of the problems Optibotimus had with his Brawl are on mine. While his joints aren't as loose, his torso is still a floppy mess, and he seems to have the added problem of his turret not fitting into the top of the tank tight enough.

What could be better than Death? How about popping over to Hasbrotoyshop and checking out the combiner wars figures list right now? (Dec. 1, 2015) I think you may find a few new items there - items that rhyme with 'copflop', 'fuzzlaw' and 'blockshave'....

Well, it's more like Mafdet than Bastet (a lioness/lion instead of a house cat) but if the evil one were to get a new 'egyptian god' head, I think the first was a reference to concept art for the fallen in rotf. But I would certainly be down for a straight-up repaint, that head is exquisite (as it should be - it is sky lynx after all

I think he is biased since this was a sabr battle

Also, I was not too big a fan of that fight since I was hoping for nonstop sword clashing ala Obi Won vs Anakin in Episode 3 but instead it was them using the blades as offensive forcefield generators, like in every single video game boss fight.

Sabr battles are just so awesome though, can't help but love them!

And the triple barreled shotgun is honestly my favorite accessory besides the gun/sword the breakdown mold comes with. they are so cool.

Yeah that triple barrel pew pew is pretty dope. I took a silver sharpie to Prowl's stark white version. It turned out real nice and purdy too (except for where I couldn't get to). A bit brighter than Streetwise's.
