Because the gimmick is anyone can be an arm or leg and it's easier and cost effective to make a hand/foot combo. The original hand/foot do work. Especially since the target audience is kids.

That depends... if it is available at normal retail (TRU etc..). It should be around $100 US (same as G2 Superion & G2 Menasor). If it is some kind of exclusive...then I have no idea.

That actually makes me question their definition of "fan", really. "Anyone 10 & up" is a pretty loose one, and does not necessarily include us collectors who come in a variety of degrees. Even so, legally they're still considered "toys" no matter who the intended audience is, plain and simple.

I also suspect that Hasbro deliberately designed them as "toys" to allow overlap and easy transition between age groups. The Fan category starts at age 10, yet the toys start at age 8.

By the by, with CW Computron confirmed, we can now actually two Japan-exclusive combiners: Comperian and Cybertron Super Scramble!

The switching of parts (and the part's abilities) were more focused on their Japanese versions iirc. Like if you put a faster in speed tech part as the legs and the combiner could move run faster etc like in Scramble City. I wish the Hb PR would also put emphasis on this long forgotten lore.

Did you see the picture, there's a guy in his late 20s early 30s with the word fan written under him. I would say without a doubt it includes us. The presentation even goes on that "fans" in that category count for 30% of the sales (that is the 10+ people).

But don't forget: UW Bruticus determines the rest of that line. If Bruts doesn't do amazing, the line will be done and Comp will not come
