I suppose Menasor, since the Stunticons are more gaudy than the Aerialbots.

I guess it really depends on whether you care more about G2 gaudy deco goodness or combiner structural integrity. Menasor is the better looking one as far as G2 colors are concerned, but Superion is the more stable combiner whose molds better hold together in one piece.william-james88 wrote:While I do thank you all for your responses, the lack of a united opinion isnt helping in the least![]()

That's what I was going to say.
Or maybe G2 Defensor...
(Or maybe G2 Victorion?

I would suggest to still get him eventually just to have that molding in your collection, since no other toy shares it. But of course, at the right price.
Oh and here he is at the perfect price: http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/en/htsusa/b2443as00--1
I saw that, but thanks none the less.
That is tempting, but I'm going to wait.
To answer your question, I would go G2 Menasor.
I like all of the characters better, and I actually don't mind the G2 colors of those guys.
Are you really wanting one of them?
If not, save the $$$. You're planning on getting stuff from TR, right?
I on the other hand, am not (other than maybe TT Blurr), which is part of the reason I started considering Magnus. Not to mention, my checking account just needs a break.
Oh, and I really am considering getting another UW Computron set.
I personally need to just start saying "no" to anything I'm on the fence about.
If I don't love it, or truly need it, the answer is easy.

If you want a competent version of magnus who has a robot mode that fully integrates the armour then this is your best bet for the price. However, its too bad the question is asked now since just last week there was an incredible sale on the Takara version which has much better colours than Hasbro's.
Those red thighs, though...

G2 Motormaster has fixed thighs though. However, G2 Superion is super with his squats, though fragile at Silverbolt's fist joints.

Well... how about this; in what context would you be asking? Based on what we think looks best for them, which about them would make a better set, or for personal reasons (since I wanna use them for turbomasters)?

In the context that both are currently available at 65$ USD through a particular outlet for me in canada and at that price, I was going "why not" but didnt want to buy both.

Menosaur looks nice enough, but Superion is simply the better combiner. Better molds, and more stable for display both combined and in individual robot modes.

Maybe in your case you should go for Menasor, considering your CW Menasor has an unorthodox selection of limbs (Offroad over Breakdown), so this way you can get the 'correct' lineup.
Or, maybe because it's the correct lineup you wouldn't want it over Superion.

I really am an all or nothing person when it comes to my collections, which is why I am still holding out hope (againast all odds) that the glorious horror that is G2 Defensor will get a release somehow.
But to answer the question...I'd say G2 Menasor, because It wasn't mass produced in 1993 like Superion & Bruticus were, thus it is like a "new toy" to me.

Haha, I actually have all the right molds for Menasor but I preffer to use Offraod over breakdown since i hate that mold. However, I am really not ipessed with any of the deluxe jets and while they arent all the same mold, they sure dont provide much variety in transformation. If i had gone Hasbroall the way from the get go and not gotten the corret configurations, then these would be awesome. But since I have Takara Superion and every stunticon released its down to the deco. Arrrgh. I might just wait for an even bigger discount from walmart when everything is 50% . (which is bound to happen)and just buy both.
Althugh I really like hat argument of getting G2 Menasor because he was never made in G2 and thus is the first ever release of G2 menasor.

I know Hasbro has done a pretty good job of making the Full sets (Devastator, G2 sets, Victorion etc...) easily obtainable online, and often at discounted rates. I was just wondering, has anyone in the United States actually sighted any of these for sale at a retail store (presumably TRU?)

But if you have to get one, you must simply ask yourself: of the superior and menasor toys, which do you enjoy the most? Then get that one.
Ugh, autocorrect. You know the two I mean, can't be bothered to fight to fix it.
