Individually 6 voyagers come to....gosh darn it 150 (24.99each). It has the extra parts for forearms and chestplate. It hasn't been repainted into an alternate version or other characters. That's a 1 time use. So for you to say that they wouldn't do it, at cost for a one of is bull.
First off, these figures are "voyager" in size, but to say they're each worth $24.99 is just wrong. And the additional parts for Devs don't improve them.
And size is, generally, how all figures are classified. Regardless of their quality, our views on such and in comparison to their piers. So they ARE voyagers.Sowndwave76 wrote:No CW figure is top-notch. But the Constructicons are not the same as the other voyagers such as Cyclonus.

As much as I like the set, I know individually they're not true voyager class quality. That's a dead horse.
About the point we have some agreement on. Personally I think they're an upscaled design, I've even seen comments elsewhere that others agree in a greater magnitude, as they felt these were nothing more than an upscaled Cyber-commander class design.
As you're not swaying me, nor apparently am I you, we'd be best to just disagree on this matter.
I agree we disagree. That's been clear. You can think I've spent time discussing all of this in an attempt to sway you. That's pretty funny. I'm simply sharing my views and making points.
You've taken this subject completely off of my original point, which is fine I guess.
Happens in discussions.
But I never denied the CW Devs figures are voyager class in terms of size. You even quoted me.
Then you agreed with me about the quality aspect of these figures.
But you're still saying they're each worth $25. Fine.
This does get me back to my first point--
It's not so outrageous that Hasbro would want $120 for what would be THE ONE NEW Devastator set, even if the figures were deluxe class.
I've used other over-priced class sizes to back this point.
So what about other sets? Look at any of the Special Edition 3 packs.
--I get it's fewer figures that don't combine. I bring this up to talk about prices--
Three re-painted deluxe figures, and in a couple cases two of the figures are basically the same! For what $50?? I don't know the cost for sure but I'm betting it wasn't a "deal" of $29.99... And I wouldn't doubt if SRP was > than $50.
This has happened, multiple times now.
And while a bit subjective, what's a bigger deal and more "special";
Repaints of deluxe Cyclonus, Hot Rod, and Galvatron, or the first legitimately new Devastator?
Those three packs are marked-up X% (even though they're really special), but Hasbro would sell their one new Devastator set at cost simply because of the price of regular deluxes??
If you or anyone else really think this just because "Well but ya see that's the price according to cost of each figure in the set"...
Then yeah, I most definitely agree to disagree. Moving on.
