I know other people had to have brought this up.
But if we're not going to get a proper Trypicon (not saying we're not, just that one doesn't seem to be on the horizon) I wonder how a Typticon retool of Sky Lynx would go over. Especially if you give him his own team of limbs.
Full Tilt - Swindle Redeco
Brunt - Brawl redeco
Wipe Out - Breakdown redeco
Fasttrack - Rook redeco
Iguanus - Legends Groove redeco (I know, but his color scheme and reptile theme would fit)
Hasbro probably wouldn't do this but if it was a Botcon box set, I'd snap it up.

The only thing better is if they remade this as the promo poster, and made it totally heavy metal.
Yeah, but they couldn't do that exactly, cuz then they'd have to release a scorponok too
Which would still be nice.....
Yeah, but it would be an expensive year for you guys if they made them both titan class, and released several in one year, and, let's be honest, no one here would hear the end of it
There has been worse. Last year, hasbro unveilled a list of 30 exclusive TFs collectors were meant to collect for the 30th anniversary. These were two of them:
Not only was it 2 titan figures, it was of the same damn character. Interestingly enough, there wasnt much of an uproar or despair, just lack of excitement and dissapointment.

Haha, yes and I feel it accomplished what it set out for (the standard gen thirlling 30 line). I still cant believe how lazy that list was. It's like a rep was assigned to come up with something, so he just researched what was exclusive that year and made a nice photoshop. I mean come on, TWO metroplexes?!??! And plus, for the year AFTER Metroplex was released?!

RAR wrote:But in General yes simply Numbering the Generations line would have worked better. at least then it looks like they were trying a bit by virtue of things like Rattrap, Waspinator, Rhinox, Whirl, Tankor, Armada Starscream, Brainstorm, & Skybyte.

There's a big Metroplex sized hole in your theory! let me explain! Just for arguments sake.....say we go with the Sky Lynx mold for Trypticon(heavy retool of course!) Swindle would be the WRONG SIZE to use him for the chestpiece! better to go with Blackjack/Rodimus figure as Full Tilt! but.....If Trypticon is titan size(most likely of senarios) THEN Swindle would be the correct size for the chestpiece! although I still still don't believe Swindle quite fits the bill as Full Tilt....better to use one of the CW Stunticon sports cars for him.

Hellscream9999 wrote:So this is really happening I guess; CW is ending and we're not getting any 'extra' limbs for the 2 additional torso's that we're getting!?!
Talk about flying in the face of your much touted 'playstyle' I mean, you can say the same for the's, but I consider the '84 teams extra, either because you don't need the torso (or b/c you want to keep skylynx seperate...), or b/c you want to get some and mix'n'match them together, this is such bullsh!t

I'm not a hard fan to please, I want's and cool looking figures...
While I can believe that they'd mess that up, I really didn't want them to...
While most of the cw figures are 'cool', they're not, or even
, they're just paltry and/or G1 at best; oddly enough, Rook and the 'violent axe-murderer stunticon' ended up being some of my faves because hasbro had the room to get creative with them.
F%ck all of this

Isn't Skylynx coming out at the same time as Wheeljack, Hound, and the others?
[Edit] Or are you talking about another torso. I was thinking Computron Scattershot and Skylynx are the last two....

I woulda loved some seekers (preferably the ones that don't get much publicity: nacelle, sandstorm, hotlink, acidstorm, and such - skywarp can get away with it cuz: paint scheme) It seemed like such an elementary set of repaints, how did it not happen![]()

I don't disagree with your thoughts on limbs, but we did get the main 3 guys in Leader sizes. Well, Skywarp is still in the works, right? I hope so, because, like you said, "paint scheme."

Firstly, come on Madeus Prime, you are a seibertron veteran, I am surprised you chose this thread to write your remarks when we have a whole thread dedicated to Titans Return. It's best we continue ths discussion there so that those who do follow it can get your insight.
Secondly, I like the idea of heads sold individually since its a cheap option for kids to switch things around. I see this no different on a playability level for a new audience as the idea of releasing individual limbs instead of box sets for all combiners. Like that you can play the switch game and stay on a budget. And also, it really helps give you a spare head to the kids who lose though. Anyone collecting G1 toys knows how terribly rare the headmaster heads are (sine kids kept losing them) and I myself wish Hasbro would just rerelease a whole pack of substitute G1 heads so I wouldnt have to spend 50$ each time I want to complete a headmaster. Also, part of the transfomrers governing group at Hasbro constantly rejected the idea of bringing headmasters back because of the lost heads and the complaints that would ensue from parents. I believe the titan master class is what we have to thank for, for this project to actually come to fruition.
Stuartmaximus wrote:Aren't we getting Powermasters & Targetmasters too? how about spare ones of those?

To me Saskatoon will always be remembered as the place with the ridiculous name where Bret Hart defeated Ric Flair for the WWF belt on a house show.
