I looked through the press release, and couldn't see a mention of legends groove.
Also if the Autobot cars are the last deluxes. ..who will cyclonus combine with?

I just noticed that Long Haul's bucket has no bottom to it. It looks pretty clear that his arms will be formed from Devastator's thighs, but I wonder where his legs will come from?

Sure, it's a mish-mash of designs, but this is what I see with a more G1 styled cab.
The back end red area is what I see being the foot. Do you guys not have these types of cement mixers in your neck of the woods?
Would you believe no? It actually looks like a truck riding perpetually in reverseIt doesn't change that Mixmaster seems to be reversed one way or another tho.
was looking at TFW's images and they have a small shot of Devy's box with an even smaller image of the vehicle modes on it, and Mixmaster looks like he might be the mixer in Cobra Viper's pic
Spot on. the mixing drum is now facing the front
if you look carefully you can see it on the box images of their vehicle modes.
so really, there's no fancy transformation; flip Devastator's foot out from under the rear of Mixmaster's truck mode & then attach the front of Mixmaster to the thigh connector.

The official pic does a much better job of hiding Devastaor's club foot, that's for sure. But that's to be expected, almost everything looks better in those.

Based off CW Wave one Optimus not combining with a new repurposed team of Deluxes. Think it's highly Likely that Hasbro will have CW Cyclonus combine with any Four deluxes from previous CW teams. With no bother of new names, no recolors, no retools.
Can certainly see TFCC have fun with these CW toys when they get the clearance to use them. Think doing a Update CW toy to their First Five year club combiner is a given.

There's way too much cheating involved in those transformations for them to work. The mechanics wouldn't work in reality. Parts clipping through other parts, pieces magically becoming attached to other pieces when there's a very visible gap between them, parts floating away, unattached to anything, then flipping around and plugging back into place, and and so on. People seem to be going to ridiculous lengths just to deny the fact that Mixmaster is a slightly different kind of cement truck. I don't know why we're overthinking it. It's a two piece mechanism that results in a front loading mixer.

The entire cab transformation seems to be steps 4-6 of that chart, with the foot turning into the engine.

I totally see it now. Mixmaster does have a reverse drill. And his foot is the back of the truck while his cab is up there connected. I will sound like a newb but what is the truck that makes up the hips and abdomen, connecting both legs ?

That would be Long Haul, whos alt mode is some kind of off-road/mining dump truck, like this one:

Also, I think Mixmaster's alt mode is a neat change. After all, those front-discharge concrete trucks seem a little bigger than the ones built on conventional front-engined truck chassis.

ok this is a close up of one of the images from TFW's coverage page originally found here
http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-new ... ge-182079/

if you look at Mixmaster, his drum is going toward the front toward the cab and not away like it did in G1. Sorry guys there is no drum flipping and Mixmaster is not G1 accurate. I personally dont care because it still looks awesome.

So......Floro Dery's original "visor" optics won over the Diaclone two optic setup. Also very nice.
