I want, more than anything, so see him f%@# his mom, just like his namesake Johnny Bravo.
Now, happen.
You seem agitated.
Have you accepted Alpha Bravo as your lord and saviour?
Yes, yes I have sir.
I rejoice every day.
Also very cool that Deadend still is depressed in Combiner Wars. I love that character in the cartoon. "We're all food for rust."
I love Motormaster, his G1 figure had a completely different face than the cartoon. This one is so cool, angry but still sharp.
Praise the axe murderer![]()
I think that's why Alpha Bravo is getting all the nerd rage.

When has Blades ever taken the "robots in disguise" concept to heart? By the time the Protectobots came along in the Sunbow cartoon, everyone on Earth already knew about the Autobots (save for those three high school twits, for some reason). Their altmodes never played any functional role in the Marvel G1/G2 comics. They never got Earth modes in Dreamwave G1. And in IDW G1, neither Blades nor First Aid have ever been shown on Earth at all.Emerje wrote:Crosscheck wrote:Shuttershock wrote:Emerje wrote:Honestly, I think the Alpha Bravo mold works best for Alpha Bravo. I'm rather annoyed by Blades, a rescue helicopter, having missiles. Are they supposed to be water missiles or something? Sure, the original figure had canons, but they were removable and you could rationalize them as extinguishers, not so probable with missiles. Would have been better if they did something like Rook and put canon's on the sides of his arms in place of the missiles. I also hate that he's almost entirely red in copter mode, I'm not sure why Hasbro started that trend with their repaints. Still better than the Evac Squad Fly-Up colors. I think this mold is going to look fine as Vortex, with or without AB's head.
On a side note: why are there so many people trying to tell us what figures we do and do not want? I'll decide what figures I like thank you very much.
Cyclonus' team should be AB, Off Road, and Rook at least along with Viper.

To be fair, Blades is to my recollection pretty vicious and trigger happy, so missile pods seem to fit. Sure he's a Protectobot, but he's easily the most violent of them.
Robots in "Disguise" indeed...
Bingo! Despite his nature he shouldn't be a rescue chopper that can rain death. The canons were a better fit since they could have a dual purpose, but it's hard to see missiles as anything but what they are. At the very least the figure has two more weapons, he really doesn't need the missiles.

Crosscheck wrote:Offroad's bio does say how the other Stunticons are a little uneasy about the fact that Offroad has taken Wildrider's color scheme, so it is certainly possible that he had a different color scheme in fiction and changed it to fit in. So having him be Ruckus in Wildrider's clothing renamed into Offroad might actually work.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

You'd think Hasbro would capitalise and try to cross-sell?

Nearly all of the Transmetals and Transmetal 2s (and BWII Galvatron and BWNeo Magmatron) had Ninja Turtle grimaces.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:munkimus prime wrote:Blades looks angry and Constipated. Maybe he is angry because he is constipated.

Rated X wrote:Streetwise looks great. I'm glad I didn't go with TFC this time. Their Streetwise looks like Drift too much. I'm also confident we will get a limb sized G1 style Groove eventually from somebody. If Hasfensor looks G1 (cartoon accurate) enough in hand, I might pass on maketoys Guardia too. It's about time Hasbro started getting combiners right. Sure the stock hands and feet suck, but replacement options are coming.

Well, Offroad came through on that wish.
Viking style!
Now that I have had a chance to really give these wave 2 guys a good play, I gotta say, they are AWESOME!
Air Raid is kinda old news, but I'm happy to have a full squad of Aerialbots. His jet mode looks great. The stunticon punks are really doin' it for me though. Breakdown is fantastic. Offroad really works for me too. I think Dragstrip is still my fav though. Something about the puffy pirate shirt with it's billowing sleeves, and the bell bottoms. Put a head band on him and I swear he'd be a dead ringer for Jimi Hendrix.
Did everybody get their HTS orders?
Nemy Max, have yours shown up yet?
