I've been out of the loop for a while...
But just wanted to throw out there that the P.E. chest/head set for Menasor makes him look a ton better...
I'm still waiting on the hands/feet add-on set, as well as deciding which way to have Breakdown and Wildrider positioned.
Even though this was added to the UW version, surely it would have the same effect with the Hasbro set.
For me, it was money well spent.

Also, is it still rumored that the Combaticons should be released early 2016??

I have a theory that they will show up late December/early January (in North America) finger crossed. I can't see them delaying them otherwise the wave afterwards will be tripping over the need to release Titan Wars toys.

I agree, the PE stuff makes Menasor look WAY better.

Also, since when was that a rumour? I thought that Onslaught's release date was given as 12/15 or 1/16 at SDCC

Agreed. I think when I order some new feet and the shoulder locks, he'll be much more enjoyable to display.

Agreed. I think when I order some new feet and the shoulder locks, he'll be much more enjoyable to display.

Since I will be getting the Autobots team, I'll just keep Menasor combined to look as is and play with the individual molds with the autobots

I just can't believe that there will be NOTHING new come holiday time. Well, there will be those gift sets...

Yeah, I wondered if the '84

got pushed up to start making the box sets and the combaticons in the factories, cuz they were pushed up, right?

The aerialbots dropped (Dec.) Jan/Feb, stunticons arrived in April, the protectobots arrived the last weekend of June, and the '84 team popped up in late August, since wave 2/3 didn't really filter out to retail (overall), is this it 'til December?

Well the Autobot cars are out now - (Early September) so things usually come in quarters - but they also usually at least try to get things out for Xmas too (I say try as often they turn up early Jan the following year - I've seen people moaning about that sort of thing happens for as many years as I've been online).

So it doesn't seem impossible that the next wave will debut this year - the only issue might be factory space and shipping slot allocations being given to Star Wars over Transformers might cause delays - but I can't say if that is going to be a big issue or not.

But a 2 month gap isn't impossible. But don't be surprised if your shopping for Combaticons in January not December.

Heck they might even hold them back to encourage people to buy the Giftsets and just release new RID in 2015 - and maybe some new Legends if we are lucky.

Heck knows what will happen with Starscream or other Leaders though... I've still yet to see a Leader Thundercracker in the wild.

They were 1st sighted a month or so ago they are widely available from early September/late August though. look at the dates on the sightings and when people placed their Youtube reviews it evens out at about a fortnight ago.

But that isn't an especially important point to the point I was making, unless some reader of this page thinks it is suggestive of an increased likelyhood of getting Wave 5 on shelves as early as possible.

The best guide to this is when the in hand in package reviews start to appear from Hong Kong/China and Asia. When that happens you know it's not to long until they show up elsewhere.

yes but those releases don't include the UK! so god alone knows when blighty will see Wave 4 or even the Combaticons ect, hell...we've barely even got Leader Class Magnus here yet(ok...he's recently been spotted in a Forbidden Planet in Bristol), the only chance of seeing Wave 4 early is at things like Comicons ect(there's a comicon coming up towards the end of the month in Glasgow, Scotland! & probably they'll have Wave 2 as well + Quickslinger & Brake-Neck).

The only release I was commenting on above in UK terms was Leader Thundercracker.
As I import a fair bit I tend to take note of North American sightings almost as much as the UK ones... especially since there often isn't any UK ones for extended periods.

I think Defensor may be my favorite of the group! He really does look beefy and chunky, has some great transformations and his team members just mesh so well. I'm really loving this guy, and Groove looks good as a chest minion!

I love him in power punch position. Did you see Age of Ultron when Ironman was hulk busting and his arm transformed into like a jack hammer fist, and just railed on the Hulk? I like to think Rook can do that! :BLACKEYE:

I'm personally keeping him in the configuration found on the boxes. I love the knee pads (Bruticus will be the 1 exception to that rule) and he just doesnt have it. He makes a badass arm though, super powerful looking and makes a mean punch. I also gave him Cyclonus's gun so he has a good combined mode rifle and his dinky hot spot one. I love Avengers and the Hulkbuster has so many things similar to Rook as limb (not to mention the combiner hand formation in his robot mode, hulk hands be-othces)

I got mine yesterday too! I haven't opened them yet, I just like looking at them brand new. The head sculpts are amazing, especially First Aid and Blades. Love these guys. I am probably gonna put Defensor together today.

Thirded. First Aid is easily the best of the Defensor deluxes.

It has been reported Via DaimChoc on Facebook from user Wal Ken G. Siocs, that Transformers Generations Combiner Wars G2 Superion found at retail in China!
The reported price of G2 Superion is at 550 Chinese Yuan which converts to approximately $86.37 USD with today's FX rates.
G2 Superion was first revealed at SDCC here, and was not expected to be released until 2016. So what does this mean? Is G2 Superion getting an earlier mass market release than expected?
