Well, yeah, if the combaticons are already shipping to online retailers and storehouses for normal retailers, it makes sense that sky lynx's production cycle would be nearing completion ;)

On a related note... I NEED SKY LYNX NOW :BOOM:

Speaking of Combaticons...

a) Any idea when they're going to start shipping to customers? Foaming at the mouth for Bruticus to get here!

b) Is Optibotimus going to finish his Combaticon reviews anytime soon? He's yet to review Onslaught, and I'd like to see how Bruticus himself holds up.

I think he just got the limbs, but I imagine that he'll hold up as well, or better than Defensor. Defensor doesn't really lean so long as you pose him; open his legs by a ratchet, and move them forward, and pivot the thighs a little, and all the 'posing problems' go away ;)

How is that in response to me (not to be taken rudely, its just that I've forgotten what the heck I've posted over the past few days)?

Coincidentally, I picked up Cyclonus at a Target somewhere in Tennessee coming home from a trip to Florida, and I must say, I am not disappointed with him. He looks very good combined with the Stunticons (excuse the bad picture quality and the random Classics Magnus. All I have is my Mom's phone to work with, and I had recently gotten that Magnus and took that picture with the two of them to show to my uncle, who likes Transformers).

Also, I've been meaning to ask this question for a while. Is it weird that I like Scattershot and plan to get him?

Well, technically, no, it isn't weird. Silverbolt is the best torso figure released, any variant will inevitably make a nice, solid torso.

It just didn't really live up to any standard or hope we had for it. We know hasbro could've done better, and we really do deserve more remolding (and probably an editted paint scheme), as all but two figures are just more retools for the next 2 waves (most of which seem pretty lazy at this point - wheeljack with no paint, blast-off having very little paint apps).

So, it's not weird, you're just in the vast minority.

He's not doing it for me neither actually. They say the truck mode is supposed to be facing a certain way but it looks like 2 ends to me and I dont really know what I am looking at. And the robot mode looks like a redeco's hotspot in robot mode, especially the leg area with the light bar still there. But looking at the g1 toy and cartoon model he looks pretty good and on point. I just preffer the swat team onslaught we got in the universe line and as someone says, that is all personal preference.

That's not Onslaught's cartoon model. That his Dreamwave MTMTE profile book artwork.

This is his cartoon model, and like those of the other Combaticons, it's a very made up design when compared to the toy:

lol, did they copy/paste the legs on him, how could he have wheels on the same side of each leg, it doesn't work like that

Well if you go by the animation models from the 80s cartoon as your benchmark for how some of the figures should look/transform, your head will explode. Especially around season2, the animators seemed to have given up on 'accurate' character models and transformation animation. There were some episodes where the animation was really horrible, and the characters seemed off model in every frame.

And as for Computron/Betatron it's really just a matter of paint. I mean a different head would have been better but there isn't that much difference in the torsos that a little paint would not have fixed. HOWEVER if they ever do release technobot limbs Betatron will probably look a great deal better. It's a lot of red but hey, Computron had a lot of red on his chest. Not the right shade but with the right limb colors he'lol look much better. I'm holding out hope.

So I just found out a decent replacement for the huge combiner hands. I don't know if anyone's said this before, but it's the hands from the Kreo transformers sets. They fit perfectly and are much better proportioned, but you unfortunately lose the finger articulation and the grip is a little bit lose, but still tight enough to hold the weapons alright. It's a bit of a compromise but I like it. I've given them to superion and menasor so far, since I can only find 2 of my 3 sets. I would post pictures but I have no idea how.

Courtesy of Weibo user 风守老人, we have the first in-hand image that shows us pretty much nothing of the upcoming Combiner Wars Voyager SkyLynx! The figure is in shuttle mode, in a plastic bag, and there will probably be more images to follow this one, but for now, take a look below.

I'm with you. I really want a computron, and I think this is how we are going to get him. I am holding out hope for the rest of the team :BOT:

I think we can all agree that there is enough substantial evidence to prove that computron is/should be coming our way, most likely as a boxset, or interspersed throughout tw |:|

I kinda hope that (if) they release the rest of the Technobots individually and not as a boxset.
I'm still half debating if its worth having a kitbash back up plan with figures that are being released.

Nope not weird at all. But then again this is the internet and you're not allowed to have opinions that differ from the group

Unfortunately, that will most like not be possible. And even if it was, then the Lynx head would be permanently facing down (due to the combined mode and the legs facing backwards.

Indeed they do. I do kinda wish that he had his own team, though.

If Scattershot doesn't get 4 Technobot limbs, I'm getting 4 Ironhides as limbs. So much red.
