I think the saying "He's got balls of gold plastic!" should become a fun oxymoronic statement that fans should start saying.

Hellscream9999 wrote:Blast off would be mine, but his canopy section just won't stay down in vehicle mode, and the thighs on vortex are messed up, they don't move very well whatsoever, so I guess the whole wave is a wash and I will be replacing all of them as soon as they show up in stores, or maybe I'll pull a magnus and forget they exist b/c with my luck it probably wouldn't matter if I replaced them

I think CW Ultra M wasn't meant to scale well with the Leader Megatrons and Seekers, but rather scale well with the other recent and future G1 season 3 character releases such as Cyclonus, Galvatron, and Springer for example. I think the season 1 characters such as Megs and the Seekers were meant to scale well with Devy and MPs.

Yup, if hasbro ever wondered why they don't get any tf sales through brick'n'mortar stores, this is it

However, this is also the typical seasonal glut between Christmas and Easter. It's been happening every year at least since I was a kid. Target got in some new products for other toy lines (such as Disney Princess, Shopkins, Rescue Bots, etc) right after Christmas, which was probably meant to arrive in time for Christmas, but either way most of that product has already sold from the stores near me. TRU is your best bet at this time of the year. However, a lot of 1st quarter Transformers merchandise is enroute to retailers currently. I've received most of the new Rescue Bots products for my store, as well as Robots In Disguise and have new Combiner Wars product enroute as well.

Nah it was like this for my area for the last 8 months, I never saw waves 1-3 of cw at most of the stores near me

Other than exclusives, Rook has no straight repaint in the line anywhere, right?

He doesnt. Meaning his sculpt is pretty unique at retail for Hasbro. Odd how the new extra dude gets the nice single sculpt.

Strika, all the way. Not technically a Decepticon, I guess (unless you count Animated?), but still...

I bet he does, especially in the pharmacie section next to the elderly people checking their blood pressure.

Oh really? I always figued she was a decepticon since she was seen as a general from the old war, so I assumed before Maximals and Predecons. But either way, yeah that would be a very suitable mold.
PS: Those were such uderwhelming toys. You would think the greatest generals of history would be a lot more imposing than that but yet that Tankor toy towered over them.
