Firstly, I, like most everybody else, have seen this wave in stores already. Not to sound unappreciative, but I guess nobody remembered to report the initial sighting and we all just assumed someone else had, because these have been out for a few weeks, bordering on a month.

Thanks That Bot, I myself was thinking thats exactly what happened. They were available online at hasbro toy shop with the discount and a bunch of US fans got them there. There were pics taken of people finally getting them and opinions were discussed. So when they appeared at retail, there wasn't a hoopla.

That, and maybe we all came to the unspoken conclusion: the only way to get shockwave at retail is to tell no one that he is at retail

Its very rare I look at new figures and think "the G1 is objectively better", but this is one such example[/color]

I feel that was about Sky lynx as well. Not sure about Fortress Maximus, but the fact that him beinga remold gets in the way fo him having his standard alt mode works against him in my book.

i dunno about that, coz most or nearly all versions of Fort Max(G1, Kabaya, KO, Infinitor) can form that weird city mode + the only reason(apart from the metroplex mold not allowing for it to turn into the standard city mode) was coz that weird city mode was featured in some old transformers toy catalogue. And remember! Infinitor has a weird alt city mode too!(which comes as standard & is featured in the instructions & on the box).

So you think we will be able to give Fort Max his actual city mold?

no! as i stated, using the metroplex mold prevents that

as for the fists.....i dunno if they'll be able to be folded away? or like you said, just left out in the open, i know with metroplex they were just left there....exposed.

as for ramps(the one's on his arms) dunno if they'll be removable or not yet?

the only thing that's puzzling me is this joint that would normally swing the whole arm round(on metroplex at least)

now....is this joint locked off? or is it still functional? & if it were functional....what purpose would swinging the whole arm forward serve?(at least with Fort Max).

The small red ones? those are the ones you connect to the other base mode figures, they look like they just clip onto his arm, so I guess you're good to go if you wanna yank 'em off

Those aren't ramps though, a ramp, by definition, has slope, that's why it's called a ramp. Those things on his arms are runways, or roads, or something else, but they are not ramps.

I only answered about the red one's because they are ramps, and connected to his arms, thus I thought that was what he wanted to know about

I saw Pipes somewhere (don't remember which store, probably a Target or a Meijers, slight chance it was a TRU) several weeks ago. I didn't realize he was part of a recent wave because honestly I don't care about Pipes (no offense to those that do) so didn't pay much attention to what wave or whatever. Let's see... cross-checking with my bank account, I saw (and purchased) the wave 5 Legends on February 22. So as previously discussed, no, we're not just getting them, it's just that nobody thought to report it.

Thanks to fellow Seibertronian Cyberpath we have a picture of Transformers Combiner Wars Deluxe Groove in package. This image comes from weibo user TFCLUB. Don't get too excited, because this could just be an image related to yesterday's Toys'R'Us Taiwan Groove promo. What's interesting here is that the package is using the Combiner Wars logo and is multilingual.

Fellow staffer WilliamJames88 sent a quick update of a few renders of CW Deluxe Groove in. These are via Facebook user TFND.

The real shock would be if it didnt. This is clearly a Hasbro product and designed for release in northamerica, hence why they EVEN INCLUDE FRENCH ON THE BOX!

I hope this will at least be released in canada this time though, since they actually made that extra effort. If not, I hope I can rely on you Cobo to help me out

Now I am really not sure of getting Takara's Bruticus. I could ust get the Hasbro with the limbs on sale and wait for them to release shuttle blastoff (which is what i did with Groove here and it seems like it will pay off).

Thanks! I know what it is. My point is you don't put out the resources and time into all that packaging to produce 500-1000 units for give aways. I'm thinking it's a good bet Groove is headed our way.
