Mostly Devastator, the purple is the exact shade of Cyclonus' purple as far as I can tell. I bought a loose 3 part chest plate and the 2 partgun on ebay. Then there's Leader Seekers gun in there as well which I had lying around since I don't display it with Thundercracker.

I wanted to cover up the dark teal, but it's started to grow on me. Still not sure that I like the bright yellow missles, though. I at least want to mess with the heads a bit. Either eye color and/or head color, possibly a swap. Just to give them a little more uniqueness and personality.

In not sure what the best colour would be to use in order to cover those missiles which doberman out of place. Maybe a matching purple to the rest to help tie everything in.

They started off as Sweep-like drones but I think I like having them as individuals who happen to share a lot most of their physical characteristics.

Got my Vortex x4 today and banged out a custom combiner using only Combiner Wars parts. I was very pleased my shipment came this weekend instead of the middle of next week as it was scheduled!

And post slight customization(just removed the rotors and tossed in some extra parts)







This guy really evens out my personal Combiner War. It's a 4 on 4 fight now with the edge to the Decepticons due to Devastator being a 6 man team.

Like, most G2 guys have the stupidest, most garrish 90s colour schemes that are on par with The Room in how 'so bad they're good' they are.
But... somehow Drag Strip manages to look legitimately good?

G2 drag strip is my favorite deluxe, well was until I got Needlenose. He just looks so badass, the only thing I would change would be the bright yellow combiner port.

tbh, ALL of the figures look ten times better in their computer renders like that than in actual photos of the physical product. but yes, G2 Dragstrip is less garish than the other g2 stunticons.

I agree with most of those, except a select few, Mirage being 1 of them. I think that figure came out so well done in both robot and car mode, I love that blue and white. Dragstrip (either version) doesn't look as good.

I wish they had made the bottom half of Mirage's combiner port white to replicate his car front coloration.

I completely missed him.

My defensor will never be show accurate, or accurate to my childhood defensor.

I am >inconsolable<

My only hope is to try and find him on ebay after the dust has settled for some astronomical price. I can already find him but he's a $70 buy-it-now from china.

Don't worry about it, just keep an eye out and you may be rewarded. Though you would probably have a heart attack at my defensor that is only half protectorbot

Hes not out yet, officially. Worst case scenario is that you will have to import him from the either the chosen prime or somewhere else (BBTS maybe). he will only be 11 pounds, so while you might cut a loss for shipping, at least you wont be taxed when it arrives due to its low declared value. Your defensor will be complete, you'll just have to pay the shipping for a groove sold elsewhere. And thats IF Kapow doesnt restock when groove actually gets released.
