Did you ask the guy if he'll ship to The Netherlands?

As for the shipping thing, I can't help you there, since I'm an American.

I did. Even sent him the parcel2go website link with the cheapest option I posted above. No reply. :(

edit: just got a reply! He's agreed to agree upon a shipping cost tomorrow should I win. So let's hope I win :D
another step closer to completing the combiner collection!

edit 2: well, I got outbid for quite a fair deal. My max was £110,- ex shipping, and only because it was a very complete Superion with all 5 planes plus Alpha Bravo as an extra, but the final bid was £119,- and that's too rich for my blood, so it was a fair auction. Too bad.
Want list:
Siege Sideswipe, Skytread, Soundwave, Starscream, Shockwave, Red Alert, Brunt, Smashdown, Greenlight, Toy Refraktor set, Impactor, Spinister, Lancer, Crosshairs, Hot Shot, Rumble & Ratbat, Frenzy & Wingthing, Skywarp.
Earthrise Snapdragon & Apeface.
Generations Selects Pirahnacon!

That was a pretty nice set of aerialbots there. Sorry you didn't win :(

Almost brought my Lost Lightatron (looking for suggestions for a better name, I'm drawing a blank) back to school with me, but was too big of a rush. I'm thinking I'll throw some TR titanmaster dudes on the combiners to act as guns (maybe Brawn as a gun and nightbeat as a drill hand). Still bummin' about no UW Comps yet, not even an instock notice. patience is a hard thing.

Might be a bit late, but wildberry poptarts are my jam, and they tax free too.

Picked up CW voyager Onslaught yesterday from TJ Maxx for $14.99. He looks amazing with CW legend Shockwave as his gun and his other cannons mounted on his back!!

Out of curiosity what was the box like? I found two at TJ Maxx a few weeks ago and the boxes were pretty well mangled and flattened so I chose not to take a chance on the figures inside.

I grabbed a Sky Lynx a few months back from TJ, and the corner of the box was in bad shape. But there was nothing wrong with the contents inside. The Onslaught figures I've seen are in near mint boxes for the most part. The deluxes have also mostly been in good condition.

This particular TJ Maxx only had one Scattershot and one Onslaught, both boxes were as good a shape as I have seen at retail. No weird creasing, no dents, no tears. Definitely glad I found him.

I would love to find Sky Lynx I'm the wild! These are the first two Transformers I've seen at this particular TJ Maxx, even during the holiday shopping season!

So... If Breakneck (aka Wild Rider) & Quicksling (aka Slingshot) were released for May Mayhem 2015, and Deluxe Groove for 2016...here is to *hoping* we might get Shuttle Blast Off & Ratchet in 2017. I know the main CW line will have ended, but Hasbro has been known to release product beyond a series run.
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

Blast Off I'd expect; but it doesn't seem likely that they'd release anything outside of classic team members that was exclusive to Takara.
... but if they do I really hope they release Nosecone. I'd buy four of them in an instant

Just replace all the HFGs on a combiner with drills.
Not just the hands. Replace the feet with drills.

Instead of it being the Vos that was hooks for hands and feet, we give you Betatron, the combiner with Drills for hands and feet

while I enjoy both toys, its just easier for me to refer to CW Computron as "Betatron" and UW Computorn, as Computron.

Or alternatively, because Nosecone has pegs on his shoulders (which face outwards in arm mode), you could do this.
Image

Depending on how the folding mechanism works you could possibly also do the same thing for the feet.

Anyone else pretty annoyed that we didn't get a G2 Defensor? I mean they did a Menasor so why not give us the other unreleased combiner? The only thing I can think of is they had a problem with the deluxe groove mold so they had to scrap it and they didn't want to use rook because they figured people would bitch about it.

Honestly I'm not too sad about it- even compared to G2 Menasor, G2 Defensor's colours were HIDEOUS.

They could have painted the mini-Groove like the Micromaster 6-team Bike or as Road Rocket or something I guess.

Or just miss it out. or put Legends Sunstorm in the set and call it a Vs set.

Or include Rook in a new deco but make sure they also make a G2 Dlx Groove Vs G2 Dlx Road Road set too. and then a G2 Alpha Bravo vs G2 Takara Blast Off. etc..

But yes the lack of G2 Defensor irks - it may show up sometime though or if not as G2 as Operation Combination deco out of Asia.

It would make a good Hasbro Asia exclusive perhaps - heck they can keep throwing Combiner Boxed sets at us for the next couple of years under the Prime Wars theme and they'd still get some interest I expect.

There is still some potential for a G2 deco of Devastator too - especially if they can finagle the use of the improved mould from Takara. Seems like an ideal "Shared Exclusive" to me like when they used to make "USA Edition" toys or the 'Year of stuff'.

I think there is some potential somewhere for some Grand Scourge Limbs too - based on the modes of the PCC toy with a similar deco. Since they don't have a Sub and a Fire Truck to be used for it.

Takara's UW Compuron is great but my one beef with it is how cheap and flimsy Scattershot's wings feel. Its a totally different plastic than anything else and feels more like what you would find at the dollar store. I get that its because its a "flying" toy, and it has a ton of protruding scaffoldlike edges, and thus the plastic used is different but its still not pleasant and doenst peg in well. Is Hasbro's Scatershot similar?

Retailshot's wing-things are kinda flimsy, but nowhere near as much as Boxsetshot.

Oh shirt! Really?! They both have different plastics? Pretty interesting :-? Not sure why though. I dont own either but I suspect that Takara's is as flimsy as the one from the boxset. Its just so noticably different. Which si a shame since the plastic found on the rest is an all time best.

Either the plastic is different, or the pins aren't as tight. For example, if I set Betatron down on his back, the things stay in place decently well, but if I do the same to Computron, they flop down instantly, being unable to support Computron's weight.

Gotta love autocorrect, eh?

In photo news, I am in process of taking a bunch of pics, including the mix of the two Computrons as requested. I just wanted to mention it as I will probably only post the pics here and not in the Unite Warriors thread. I will also, probably spread out over a couple of days so as not to photo-blitz the threads....

And Computron is fun, regardless of Hasbro or Takara. I am seriously amazed at the differences in Scatershot looks between the three available versions...

Is the plastic on the scattershot wings the same between Hasbro and Takara? And can you post a pic of what Strafe is supposed to look like as a leg for the Takara version?
