As for the shipping thing, I can't help you there, since I'm an American.

Out of curiosity what was the box like? I found two at TJ Maxx a few weeks ago and the boxes were pretty well mangled and flattened so I chose not to take a chance on the figures inside.

This particular TJ Maxx only had one Scattershot and one Onslaught, both boxes were as good a shape as I have seen at retail. No weird creasing, no dents, no tears. Definitely glad I found him.Emerje wrote:Out of curiosity what was the box like? I would love to find Sky Lynx I'm the wild! These are the first two Transformers I've seen at this particular TJ Maxx, even during the holiday shopping season!nycPrime wrote:I grabbed a Sky Lynx a few months back from TJ, and the corner of the box was in bad shape. But there was nothing wrong with the contents inside. The Onslaught figures I've seen are in near mint boxes for the most part. The deluxes have also mostly been in good condition.
I would be extremely happy with that, as I'm holding out hope for Blast Off!!o.supreme wrote:So... If Breakneck (aka Wild Rider) & Quicksling (aka Slingshot) were released for May Mayhem 2015, and Deluxe Groove for 2016...here is to *hoping* we might get Shuttle Blast Off & Ratchet in 2017. I know the main CW line will have ended, but Hasbro has been known to release product beyond a series run.

I would buy 4 as well. Find a loose Scattershot/Betatron and give it 4 Nosecones

Just replace all the HFGs on a combiner with drills.
Not just the hands. Replace the feet with drills.

Retailshot's wing-things are kinda flimsy, but nowhere near as much as Boxsetshot.william-james88 wrote:Takara's UW Compuron is great but my one beef with it is how cheap and flimsy Scattershot's wings feel. Its a totally different plastic than anything else and feels more like what you would find at the dollar store. I get that its because its a "flying" toy, and it has a ton of protruding scaffoldlike edges, and thus the plastic used is different but its still not pleasant and doenst peg in well. Is Hasbro's Scatershot similar?

Either the plastic is different, or the pins aren't as tight. For example, if I set Betatron down on his back, the things stay in place decently well, but if I do the same to Computron, they flop down instantly, being unable to support Computron's weight.william-james88 wrote:Autobot N wrote:Retailshot's wing-things are kinda flimsy, but nowhere near as much as Boxsetshot.william-james88 wrote:Takara's UW Compuron is great but my one beef with it is how cheap and flimsy Scattershot's wings feel. Oh shirt! Really?! They both have different plastics? Pretty interestingNot sure why though. I dont own either but I suspect that Takara's is as flimsy as the one from the boxset. Its just so noticably different. Which si a shame since the plastic found on the rest is an all time best.

Gotta love autocorrect, eh?
In photo news, I am in process of taking a bunch of pics, including the mix of the two Computrons as requested. I just wanted to mention it as I will probably only post the pics here and not in the Unite Warriors thread. I will also, probably spread out over a couple of days so as not to photo-blitz the threads....
And Computron is fun, regardless of Hasbro or Takara. I am seriously amazed at the differences in Scatershot looks between the three available versions...
