same. theres nothing wrong with prime, but MM just looks great with that mold (which is what most of agree was its intended 1st use).RiddlerJ wrote:Oooh, I want that Motormaster.

Even discounting the box, his head didn't look that small to me:prjkt wrote:Head size
Optimus' head is just a little too small, where as MM has traditionally had a smaller proportioned head?

Genius RJ. WHY didn't they do that?RiddlerJ wrote:Oooh, I want that Motormaster. Also, it probably would've been better to recolor Blackjack into Roller instead of Rodimus. He could attach to Optimus in his combined mode.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
I considered that, but I didn't take him to be that much beefier than Optimus. After all, Optimus did disguise himself as Motormaster in that one episode, and his mass didn't change that much when he took Motormaster's form.prjkt wrote:I was just guessing, hence the "?"
I guess MM has always seemed like a beefy, imposing dude, where as OP not as much

Well, he'd still be on even footing with Prime (moreso than his G1 toy was) since he's now the same size (and mold) as Optimus, and since Optimus also lacks a trailer.Desslok2201 wrote:I'm so torn. I love that robot mode, but no trailer is a big miss for me, he needs to go against Optimus for the 'King of the Road'

Well, if you're using MP-10, Motormaster's Voyager size is gonna stand puny compared to MP-10's old Ultra/present Leader size.Desslok2201 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Well, he'd still be on even footing with Prime (moreso than his G1 toy was) since he's now the same size (and mold) as Optimus, and since Optimus also lacks a trailer.Desslok2201 wrote:I'm so torn. Yeah, I thought about that, but ever since I got MP-10, it seems kind of pointless to get another Optimus.

dunno if you see this as a good or a bad thing, but 3P might pick up the slack. some are hoping for an upgrade kit/trailer that also fixes his proportions in combined mode.

I liked how they were about the same size in both modes back in the cartoon (even if it made little sense without the size-changing excuse), making Motormaster somewhat of a prototypical Black Convoy/Nemesis Prime.Desslok2201 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Well, if you're using MP-10, Motormaster's Voyager size is gonna stand puny compared to MP-10's old Ultra/present Leader size.Desslok2201 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Well, he'd still be on even footing with Prime (moreso than his G1 toy was) since he's now the same size (and mold) as Optimus, and since Optimus also lacks a trailer.Desslok2201 wrote:I'm so torn. Of course you're right, but MM should be somewhat smaller than Prime

Or at all, since Takara would have to dive into sorcery and witchcraft to be able to pull off the correct size-changing scale for both modes in comparison to MP-10.Desslok2201 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I liked how they were about the same size in both modes back in the cartoon (even if it made little sense without the size-changing excuse), making Motormaster somewhat of a prototypical Black Convoy/Nemesis Prime.Desslok2201 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Well, if you're using MP-10, Motormaster's Voyager size is gonna stand puny compared to MP-10's old Ultra/present Leader size.Desslok2201 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Well, he'd still be on even footing with Prime (moreso than his G1 toy was) since he's now the same size (and mold) as Optimus, and since Optimus also lacks a trailer.Desslok2201 wrote:I'm so torn. I'd love to see that represented in the MP line, but I can't see that happening anytime soon.
