this is what happens when unions run usa. we have strikes here all the time. it's disgusting. i hate unions and protesters. you got people here who want to support a family on a job a high school student would be ashamed of. don't like your job? get a different job. stop ruining america.

He's a fine figure! Easily the best of the limb bots.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

He's upholding a time-long tradition.
Think the 1986 toy was also a bot carrying a jet on his back.

Not really. I own the G1 toy, and aside from the legs looking like the knees are pulled up to the chest for transformation, the rest integrated pretty nicely...
This is nothing like CW Silverbolt or CW Cyclonus and the shell of the jet being on the back...

Do people think that Bruticus may get a new member following examples shown by this years releases?

It's been suggested that one of the reasons for the different members is variety. G1 Superion is composed of four nigh-identical jets plus Superion, and parents and retailers wouldn't shell out for what they perceive to be the same toy. Alpha Bravo and Offroad bring some much-needed diversity to the teams. It doesn't help that they make for some very easy retools. Bruticus, being made out of five completely different vehicles, would have no such problem. Hasbro might alter the alt modes a bit, but I see no reason for them to remove a character altogether.

Groove was nixed as a limb despite the Protectobots sporting completely different alt modes (Police Car, Ambulance, Motorcycle, Helicopter, Fire Truck). Going by the theory of variety, scale, and replacing one member (that will get old fast), I foresee Blast Off being replaced with a Aerialbot retool, most likely by the proper retool of Firefly.

See what I did there?
RiddlerJ wrote:Something else Hasbro could do is not put out whole teams but waves of random figures. If they're pushing for a whole mix & match deal. They could just put out deluxes not unlike Cyclonus or Optimus who just plug into whatever combiner you want. That would pretty much blow the door open for any character.
