I don't understand the white Optimus repaint. It's not meant to be Ultra Magnus, and we already have the regular Prime to go with the four Autobot limbs which will be in their usual colors. I can see reusing the mold but it seems a shame to not use it for a different character as opposed to another Prime.

Maybe it's a powered up version of Optimus, like those Powerlinx redecos from Armada.

Is it just me or does it look like white Prime has a new gun for combined mode? The Mirage arm is holding something that looks like an up scaled Ion Cannon, but not Ultra Prime's combined weapon.

It appears Wave 1 has finally hit retailers here in South Carolina... Behind a whole wave, and the wave I had to go to 3 different stores to see it "complete" minus Silverbolt.

Even found Megatron and Armada Megatron but left them because the packaging was damaged badly... (Probably on purpose.. As it was slashed like someone used a knife...)

Port stuff seems to be resolved from reading online, and shelves are starting to get full again. (Just in time for all the movies coming out..)

I am wondering if this is going to hurt this line a lot because of how far retailers are behind on these waves. In the end these guys I could see on the clearance shelves because everyone couldn't wait for them to appear in stores...

Not sure if anyone else has asked Hasbro Toy Store before when they re-stock or asking for dates, but I did... I got a bit of a run around answer. (Which I find incorrect as I have gotten dates before and soon after receiving an item they restocked everything..)

it's usually hard to find stuff even without the port situation. i don't think it will impact the line much. it's just the usually crappy transformers distribution we always see. generations being held back in favor of movie and kid's lines. more and more people will buy online, not just transformers, but everything. retail will eventually die out. the ports will be backed up for months so don't expect things to run smoothly for a long time.

On topic, I got Motormaster last week and I much prefer that deco to OP. With recent comments about Hasbro wanting OP on the shelves with 1986 character Classics, it makes sense to have him out first in CW.

I like the Henkei version of Ironhide better. I made a sweet custom shoulder launcher for classics Mirage from a RTS Tracks Missile, so I won't be getting CW Mirage either. I'm looking forward to CW Streaker because the Universe version is too big and doofy.

Nah. I'm too much of a purist to own that masquerading monstrosity they're calling Optimus Maximus. Sunstreaker will stand alone. The only combiner I'm getting is Devastator. Maybe Menasor if Takara puts a Wildrider in their set.

I think Ironhide's the only one I'm getting for sure, I just don't like the gaps in Universe Ironhide's body. my fear is Prowl will look too much like Streetwise in deco, although that would be canon for IDW for a stretch. Just prefer my twins as twins, and I finally have a good Drag Strip that's different than Mirage, I'm not taking that away from him. (The HA one is nice too though)

Late by almost 3 months just picked up CW Powerglide. Simply an awesome mold! To bad Hasbro /Tomy had to recycle the Optimus Prime mold for Huffer. These classic G1 guys deserve better! But I digress, Powerglide is just awesome, delicious and full of bravado. Dare I wish for a Moonracer?
