The problem with the official transformation is definitely the fact Streetwise looks weird in comparison to First Aid.
Here's my Defensor with his mate Superion. I gotta say, he is so much better than Menasor! The Stunticon was just all wrong in terms of body proportions, but Defensor and Superion are pretty damn good!
Hotspot and Defensor review is uploading now, so stay tuned

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Then you might as well be better off buying the originals since many/most of them still hold up and don't need CHUG updates.Ironhidensh wrote:That Bot wrote:Put Ruination-from-Bruticus with TFCC Scourge and Generations Sky Byte and you've got the makings of a good Classics RID villain lineup.
Now I'm thinking about how they could to the rest of RID.
*Optimus from Inferno
*Side Burn has a TFCC toy
*X-Brawn from Offroad or something
*Prowl from Streetwise
*Towline from Hoist
*Spy Changers from some of the Legends.
*Build Team from the upcoming Devastator. Leave out Scrapper and Mixmaster since they don't have analogues.
The rest of the Predacons are a bit difficult.
All repainted. They want my money, they've got to be all new molds.

G1 Streetwise's hood was just a flap that had a double hinge that allowed it to fold back the way you described. The Dead End mold can do that too, but only for robot mode. To access the combiner port his head/chest needs to fold completely back, and thus the hood can't hinge forward like it does in robot mode.

How much better do you think they'll be? Can't be too many paint apps/mold colors to change right?Nemesis Destron wrote:I'm counting the days for the release of Takara's Powerglide and Bombshell.![]()
Is it possible we may get a Takara Blackjack? I just bought him and ready to open away. But if Takara is adding him to be released then back to Target I go.

Those colors aren't final. That looks to be the Hasbro figure as a placeholder.Cobotron wrote:

While it might be a placeholder image, those colors are definitely not Hasbro's. Which confuses me... cause you know your stuff Sabr....Sabrblade wrote:Those colors aren't final. That looks to be the Hasbro figure as a placeholder.
Looks to me to just be a blue lighting filter affected the colors a bit.shajaki wrote:While it might be a placeholder image, those colors are definitely not Hasbro's. But it's being released in the unrelated-to-Unite-Warriors Adventure line.Autobot032 wrote:My guess is it pairs with the Nemesis Prime redeco of the Optimus mold.

Dude, it's clearly red, black and some form of blue. It's not a matter of filtering, those are the intended colors. My guess is it pairs with the Nemesis Prime redeco of the Optimus mold.

you'd be amazed at what a slight shift in colour temperature/tone and a bit of tweaking can do can do to an image - in that promo pic of Runabout, look at the colour of his sigil - it's not the tradtional purple (that coincidentally matches the colour of Blackjack groin/thighs, weapon and hands) - it's the same tone of blue those body parts are in the image.
A quick and nasty edit of that TFwiki image kinda proves my point
EDIT: As stated above, it might be the intended colours, but they're not finalised yet.

Is the dress blue and black? I say it's gold and white.
Also RIBFIR.

I really hope my old signature didn't discourage him from being a part of these vids.
My old sig.
Dear Joshua,
I just want to apologize for any harm I may have done to your feelings. You did a fine job on the video. Although your facial expression may not have matched the sentiment you were conveying, that gave me no right to make you the butt of my joke. In fact a truer statement could not have been made. It is indeed, "a real fun way to play with Transformers". I haven't had this much fun with my Transformers in a long while.
Let's chalk it up to misguided hero worship. Heck, I would kill to have your job. Why you, John, and the rest of the TF design staff are not treated as Rock Gods is beyond me. I wish you and your crew much success. Keep up the great work. You guys are killing it right now!
No hard feelings?
With much respect and admiration,
your #1 fan,
Cobotron
