Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

Given, it's usually because the character looks a little on the mustard side (LOL), but they have new chemicals and plastics to steer clear of GPS. ALSO they can simply paint critical portions of a character gold if needed.

Exactly. The problem is still there but it's only 1, maybe 2 figures per odd line. The latest victims are:
Cybertron Repugnus
Beast Wars 10th Anniversary Dinobot
Beast Machines Snarl

I'd hope that if Hasbro knows that a specific toy was victim of it in the past... that they'd take extra measures to test and ensure the new version doesn't suffer the same fate.

Also, I have Snarl and never thought he was easier to break than any other TF. Mine is as solid as the day I got him (Christmas 2000).

But he's really not. Drop him or put too much pressure on him and that's that. I've never gotten one that wasn't broken in lots that I buy for the Seibertron.com Store.
I think that list is missing some but I'm trying to think of who.
Beast Wars Megatron should be on the list though his plastic doesn't look like the same swirly gold plastic.

Hopefully they will do the others in G2 colours, I only have Drag Strip of the Stunticons so if they do a G2 Menasor, one Drag Strip can be Drag Strip and the other can be Decepticharge
Megatron is listed on the actual page. JelZe just didn't mention him in her list.Seibertron wrote:william-james88 wrote:Thanks for the list but I am surprised TM Megatron isnt there. That is the worst case of a TF crumbling in my hands.

Yeah, I've never heard of him having GPS either. Looking at the revision history of the Wiki list, his entry was added in back on March 5, 2013 by one of the more known editors, so I would presume that he isn't just making stuff up by adding OpOp to the list. But it still strikes me as strange. Mine's still fine, at least.Seibertron wrote:Optimal Optimus doesn't have gold plastic so not sure why he's on that list.

Beast Machines Snarl is interesting in that the longer he remains sealed in package, the more brittle he becomes. Odd, huh?

Seriously, having an intact toy like that is awesome on its own!
