Yeah he has, but it would be cool just to at least have him look less like a racing truck and more like a his G1 self. i think a trailer or a deliver truck canopy could fill out Menasor's back in combined mode.

Menasor has too much weight, heavy limb-bots, and poorly designed legs, and you want to put more weight onto him :BOOM:

He is heavy but what do you expect he's not going to be a feather when you chuck 4 deluxes and legends class on Motormaster. If you transform his legs to one of the many fan modes that others have done you can get a pretty sturdy Menasor. Either that or make some custom feet or something like that.

Never gotten mine to stand in any of the fan modes >:oP

But how do you think hotspot did it? because they hollowed him out, completely. everybody's bi#ching about hotspots hollowness, but thats how he supports the combined mode, I feel like I'm the only one who realizes that sometimes

Not sure how since, if one follows it from beginning to end, it's a straight story from start to finish, unlike the cartoon's many self-contained one-off stories that had little-to-no bearing on the greater narrative and could be viewed in almost any random order.

Simon's the one who made the original comics cool (to say nothing of his much more questionable post-G1 fiction, that is).

Hellscream9999 wrote:So, was it more confusing or less confusing than various scale errors in the G1 cartoon? (should be the new standard of measure)
I legitimately do not get these claims about the comics being confusing, much less the claims of their being more confusing that the cartoon. Unlike the show, virtually every issue continued the ongoing storyline of the series, adding something to it to keep it going even in the least important of issues. Stuff happened in those comics that mattered, and had lasting consequences as a result. It wasn't just trying to sell toys or tell silly little adventure-of-the-day stories, it instead was building a world full of intrigue and wonder, full of interesting characters (especially in the UK stories) and engaging events. A world where bad guys could win, where good guys could reflect on their losses, where characters could question their loyalties and purposes, where large-scale massacres of characters could come and go with lasting effects, where death itself was both commonplace and manipulable, where even the unlikeliest of persons could be the hero, or the villain, or the martyr.

For instance, by just the fifth issue do we get a point where all of the Autobots (minus two) "Are All Dead!":

Yeah, bought a book a long time ago that had a synopsis and (humours/sarcastic) deconstruction of the plot of the G1, bw, bmach cartoons and all of the uk comics

I'm surprised by the non combiner bots being so good looking that I'm actually considering them! however, my priority is still the G1 teams. Also, I plan to combine Cyclonus, the inevitable Ratchet, Sunstreaker, Trailbreaker and Hound into a Lost Light themed combiner, hopefully, I'll find a wait to attach Tailgate to the torso!
and I hope some third party makes wings for that Wheeljack, he's surprisingly accurate to his original design! he jjust needs some paint on his fake hood's windows and black/dark grey arms!

Hate to burst your bubble, but if victorion and computron are the last to waves next year, there will not be a ratchet figure, so unless you customize one, you won't get it. (could be cool, repaint ironhide and give him trailbreakers gun arm to put tools into) the wings on jack should be easy, as he has a 5mm hole on his back to attach them to.

It's a shame since there was a Ratchet headsculpt seen in First Aid's instructions:

Ha you obviously didn't try hard enough

I don't own a CW Hotspot so i cant really say much about it. I couldn't afford a 3rd party Menasor so I have done the best I can with what i got and I am happy with CW Menasor considering the price. There is a couple things I would change but they are things I can do myself with a little customizing.

Different strokes for different folks. This is actually a great reason why I don't think the G1 Marvel comics were all that great as a "story." Death was a constant, and never used well. It's almost a satire of how ridiculous of a trope death is in comic books, having no consequences or huge consequences depending on how the writer feels. Death was never used in a good way, just as shock value, or as a means to cap off a character's arc and start on some new ones when you can't thinking of any other way to wrap up a story. Death can be a fantastic storytelling device, but like most of Simon Furman's "Furmanisms," it's as clichéd a clichéd cliché as a cliché can cliché'edly be...cliché.

I'm not that impressed, really. None but Suntreaker and Mirage seem to fit their original body types very well. I don't think I'll get any of these except Mirage (Damn good mold). Skylynx, however, is looking so extremely and totally good to me... I must! Must! Must! Have that guy on my shelves!

Out of these new 4 limbs, I may pick up hound to use as a G1 Bulkhead, otherwise I'm not really interested with them. To ME they serve no purpose.

I feel like it's a daft question but while have you bolded those words?

Plus, in terms of the combiner wars deluxes, I would of thought that a green rook would of worked as a g1 bulkhead

That works quite well actually. Also a few tweaks to his colour scheme and a more evil looking head sculpt and you get a nice G1 Wreckage figure! In fact...A black repaint of Alpha Bravo to be Blackout, repaint brawl into his movie colour scheme and a more sinister repaint of cw prowl (again new head) into Barricade...and you have a set of live action movie Decepticons! Just need a core body though...Repaint motormaster as AoE Galvatron?

way too much blue on smokescreen. and where is the white? they really screwed up his deco. anything beast shelfwarming should tell you all you need to know about beast wars being inferior to g1. and the only tf things with good writing are the idw comics. mp hound is coming so maybe you can talk about how bad cw hound is in comparison.

Weapon: Battle Blades
No one here is talking about beast wars...plus comparing masterpieces to normal deluxe is greatly unfair

Smokescreen looks like a Hotshot and G1 Crosshairs mix. Trailbreaker is okay looking. Hound appears to be rigid and serrated. Wheeljack looks cool, but he has puny arms. How is he supposed to punch a Decepticon in the face with those...noodles?!
Overall, everything looks okay. It's a shame that we have to wait for March 16, 2016 for their official release.

I'm sorry but this has to be the most ridiculous statement of all Seibertron history.

So, can anyone make out if SS still has the police light bar?
