Yah! Hollow parts have been implemented in the past. God Ginrai/PM Optimus Prime ring a bell? Though wishing it be done in a not so obvious manner.
Yeah always been hollow figs once in a while.
Also don't see the big deal in some newer Transformers toys having hollow parts.

Bad example, Ginrai has hollow parts that are part of his trailer. Trailers should be hollow and Ginrai's is functional as well.
Nobody puts Ginrai in a corner!

His arms and his thighs (the cab part) are hollow. just like Legends Jetfire's. And no, I wasn't laying it hard on Ginrai as that "Oni" is one of my best faves.![]()
Hollowed parts unfortunately have been implemented for the last 30 years, only not as glaring as Jetfire.

He is unmentioned and unphotographed. As it should be!
Although I both kind of agree and fear this statement, the same was said about Jet Fire, and I personally have learned to love him despite this. I hope for the same with UM.MGrotusque wrote:The aesthetic of the figure looks great but the quality of it looks really cheap, like KO cheap. I'll need to see another review.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Normally I'm pro-Takara because of cost and not everything makes it my way (and if it days it takes FOREVER and I end up spending a fair bit in fuel to find them) but in this particular case, I want Minimus Ambus over Alpha Trion.
My Takara UM is already on pre-order. I wonder... Should I customise my Alpha Trion into a Minimus?
Wouldnt it make more sense to buy the Hasbro version and paint the rims and very minor paint apps ? That is, unless you like the red thighs or the slightly different shade of blue that much...

I love Jetfire as well, but only because a paid just twenty bucks for him. I feel the same about this Magnus figure, h looks very awesome, for a voyager but not for leader class. Unfortunately for my wallet, my love for the character outweighs my better sense. If I see him in stores, and that's a big if given CW/ generations distribution in my area, I'll buy him right up. If not, I'll wait for the Takara version as I like that paint job much, much better.

And for the young'uns....remember G1 Onslaught's double barrel canon? In the 1985 version, both had hollow barrels. The recent Encore had it fixed. So it depends on the cost but TT can fix the hollow parts if they want to.
