Yeah, photobucket hosting is not good for direct linking to on other sites. They used to be years ago, but then they changed stuff around, and their images don't show up except for (I think) people actively logged into a photobucket account.

I have Jetfire and the mold works so nicely for him and i love it. I also love that they repurposed it into the seekers. it looks very good and I love the IDW design, just wish they were smaller. But now I want all 3 leaders so I have my first seeker lineup. (The IDW design and the Starscream Crown won me over)

Or we can think about this realistically and not make a bullshit non cannon explanation (that''s funpub's job); the reason probably has something to do with which parts are on which sprues, the chest sections may be molded with the arms and engines.

But is it really BS? Because that would mean that his chest is 100% without a doubt his nosecone. And from the looks of the toy, it isnt. No nosecone has never looked like that. And toy-wise, it isnt his nosecone, its just a chest design and his nosecone is up in the back. So all the chest is really doing is homaging the nosecone, not replacing it outright and thus the chest colour needs not duplicate the full colour. What I mean is the toy is already not the traditional Skywarp since his nosecone is not his chest. This is an update for the generations line, and seeing it that way, why cant other aspects be different?

I mean, is the colour of the chest really the only different between this

But these toys arent perfect representations. They dont have the tall air exhausts at the sides of the robot heads. They instead have turbines in he back. Also, the chest is jagged ant not really a tapered nosecone. And lastly, the wings are far bigger than traditional seekrs wings and not smooth nor coloured.

I don't mind some color changes. Heck, lots of people probably dont even notice the difference. but they are fairly IDW evocative and they look amazing
