Okay, strange thing just happened to me, here. Before typing this post, I hadn't made a post in this thread, nor did I subscribe to it. I had, however, taken a look at it, but nothing more. Yet, just now, I got a new post email alert for this topic like I do for other topics I'm subscribed to. Wha? :???:

I was thinking the same thing. Did this start in the CW thread and get moved? That's my best guess.

I do like the look, but it doesn't feel too CW to me. If this comes out in the RID line, I think I'll get it.

Yeah this was spun out of the combiner wars thread. I think it was moved once someone pointed out it was the prime smokescreen mold

It makes sense that Hasbro would prototype the BH Upsized Smokescreen mold as Prowl since they did the same thing in the Legions line. My guess is the figure was scrapped when they decided not to go forward with the Upsized line.

A million times this. I played with the idea of Hasbro having the cheek to release it as an R.I.D Warrior but I think even they'd be too smart to go there.

So you're saying as it currently stands, it's nobody as it has no proper characterization as a prototype, it's simply "Smokescreen with a light bar". But would it have been released, it most certainly would have been Prowl, but since it wasn't released, it's not Prowl. :lol:
