Transformers Generations Selects Series Discussion
Re: Transformers Generations SELECTS Series Discussion
Sorry if this is common knowledge, but I've been a bit out of the loop on Transformers stuff in recent months; when is Greenlight releasing and where will she be available to purchase?

Correct, though I imagine at the top of Hasbro's list is a blue G2 Prime to go with Megatron.

Are Swoop and Ricochet going to be available through Hasbro Pulse or just third party sites?

I dislike the white parts on the car front so he will be staying in robot mode or getting them painted black.

Takara Has announced their own Select's Line. Starting with Star convoy and Teasers for Snaptrap and Super Megatron. They look like remolds of Power of the Primes Hungrrr and Titans Return Galavatron.

Takara Tomy Reveals Colour Pictures Of Generations Selects Star Convoy And Teases Others
- Motto: "My past no longer binds my future..."
- Weapon: Battle Blades
Thanks to Hobby Dengki, we have brand new pictures showing Star Convoy (retooled from Power of the Primes Leader Class Optimus Prime) in all his coloured glory!
These images confirm that there was tooling done to the inner figure, making him a smaller G1 inspired Prime, with pointier 'ears'.

Thats not all though, two other figures are teased...

This one appears to be none other than Star Convoys nemesis, Super Megatron, with some speculation that it could be a retool of Galvaltron from Titans Returns.

This one is harder to place with some fans claiming it as Snap Trap while others being more skeptical.
What's more interesting to note though that this is being advertised as part of the Generations Select line, that Hasbro announced with Red Swoop and Ricohet (before adding Artic Cameo Megatron to). Could this mean that we could see Star Convoy released outside of Japan as well?
What do you think of this news? Will you be grabbing Star Convoy? Do you think we have confirmation of the Seacons?

Super Megatron's legs are definitely those of TR Galvatron, while the legs of the visor-eyed guy also look familiar.
I'm trying to see if I can use the sword to figure out who it might be, as the sword itself does look familiar to me as well. At first I wondered if it was just the Nemesis Prime sword, but it isn't. Though it's definitely not Piranacon's sword (and besides, Snap Trap doesn't have visored eyes, he has normal eyes).

Ahh...The silhouettes, and speculation, how I've missed you...Glad to see there are some surprises to look forward to. Star Convoy looks great, though I wont be getting it. Also, if that last one does turn out to be Snaptrap, I will be overjoyed.
It will be interesting to see if
&
share their selects with one another. Also there was that Armada Prime shown at the same time as Star Convoy initially, I'm surprised there was no update on that.
It will be interesting to see if

To me, they almost look like those of the FOC Grimlock mold, which I do hope isn't the case.

Look at the right arm... that looks a lot like Hun-Gurr to me. Now as to if it's Snap Trap, we'll have to wait and see.

I dunno. I think the calf/shin sections look just like Hun-Gurr's. Definitely different feet.
