Sounds like a great way to piss off the dedicated fans that were willing to pay way more than Titan price now. Limited should stay limited.

I think they're planning just that, in the same style as the UW box sets. Which may means no Nautilator redeco and just the sword weapon, no guns or Targetmaster modes (not a big loss, really). That would bring the total price down a bit...

Totally omitted. That's what the original BWII God Neptune set did

The real play would be to release nautilator as bw seaclamp

Or even better, BWII Gimlet complete with lobster marracas!

That "new" clone 2 pack proves they could bot care less.

Height-wise, the Titans Return mass retail Voyager class Optimus works and is even colored like Star Convoy (save for his lack of a silver forehead crest).aronjlove wrote:For those of us who missed or skipped Stay Convoy, would you say Siege Galaxy Upgrade Prime is a good counterpart for Super Megatron?

Nice! I was looking for a reason to go through my figures I boxed up anyways.Sabrblade wrote:Height-wise, the Titans Return mass retail Voyager class Optimus works and is even colored like Star Convoy (save for his lack of a silver forehead crest).aronjlove wrote:For those of us who missed or skipped Stay Convoy, would you say Siege Galaxy Upgrade Prime is a good counterpart for Super Megatron?
Thanks to the expanded G1 lore, Optimus's final G1 evolution is the ordinary-looking body he had at the end of the Legends manga Epilogue, when he and Megatron finally brokered peace together.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Next image, Super Megatron, Star Convoy, with their Siege counterparts. From the beginning to their final G1 evolution!

Megatron, however, does get his final form with this toy, that being Ultra Megatron Omega.

... way to spoil my fun
It's the same JG1 continuity. It's just that Optimus and Megatron are their 2011 selves being given temporary new forms based on those that they will acquire decades later into their future after this current adventure of theirs is over and they return to their home time of 2011. And said adventure has currently displaced the two into the far distant past into a universe that existed before the Big Bang created the JG1 cartoon universe.RodimusRex wrote:If it's any consolation, the Takara Selects Manga takes place between the end of American G1 and Japanese Headmasters and has Optimus and Megatron become Star Convoy and Super/Ultra Megatron early so in terms of the Selects releases, these are their final (so far) G1 forms since this is a new JG1 continuity that splinters off at The Return of Optimus Prime.
