Like I said, if I did get a G2 'eggplant camo' he'd be displayed as the Predacon Megastorm from BWII (opposing the Legends Lio Convoy). Now I'm aware there are slight differences between G2 Megatron and Megastorm but they are minor enough to ignore.
As similar as ER and Siege Prime may look at first blush, there's a *lot* of differences under the hood. I'm still boggled by the fact that they "hid the wheels" on his legs in Siege, *reused the same damn legs* but then didn't carry over that transformation gimmick (for not appreciable reason that I could tell... other than maybe plastic/part limits?).
I'm still baffled why they *barely* reshelled Siege Megs and called it a day. I am curious how they turned it from a quad tread tank into a standard (looking at least) dual tread... but the hack job on the turret with the spear versus the original sword/cannon combo... they really shouldn't have tweaked that.

Considering how much later Double Dealer is shipping out. I'm a bit shocked the 3rd Spy Patrol is rolling out so quick. Wish Pulse would get the Micromaster packs on the website... it'd be nice to have a non-scalped non-international option for Siege Rung/Spy Patrol 2.
Also kind of wish they'd do another run on Star Convoy. I had zero interest in him after having the general mold twice (Nemesis and retail prime) but now that Super Megs is on the way... kind of kicking myself a bit.
Also shocked, speaking of Nemesis Prime, we didn't get a selects offering of Nemesis Siege Prime.

Rung is being re-released in Earthrise, so he should be easy enough to find.

I never once saw or heard of Singe and Rung at regular retail anywhere near me. I finally had to order them from a specialty toy shop, and even they had to special order a case or two. Sold out quickly, too.
It is a little odd that they haven't clearanced out the remaining Siege figures. I guess with the 'Rona, this year might be screwy, too.

I got Ratbat/Rumble at Target in the Chicago area. Saw 2 packs each at 2 Targets on the same day. Never saw them again after that. Blink and they were gone.

I found a single pack of the final cassettes once at Target and got them, haven't seen them again since. I also never saw Rung, but did see Singe once, and again gone

version of Rung from a Japanese seller, as it was the least expensive option. I know he is supposed to be re released for ER, but with things the way they are now, who knows when that will be. Also...It's May 5th, still no Overbite &Tentakil Seacons from TFSource, and no order option on Hasbro Pulse....

This whole TFsource thing is driving me absolutely batty. I am so aggravated with them at the moment.
Also got my Selects micros tonight, need to pop them open

I'll be doing the same from now on, I've only ever ordered in stock from them, this was my first (and last), pre-order. If I could get the last 2 Seacons somewhere else, for the same price or less, I'd cancel, that's for sure.

I regret not purchasing them through Pulse. the price difference was minimal (I think Turtler was the only one more expensive, but it was only by $5, and that is more than offset by the lack of taxes) and this way I would get all 6 at the same time. But still, ugh it's May, even Pulse shipped them out. this is ridiculous.

And of course, while Pulse did have a small amount of the first 2 shipments of Seacons come in stock, nothing for the 3rd shipment so far...

I've preordered from TFSource before with no problems. This is the first time any preorder I've had from them has been so delayed. Thus, I don't blame them, I blame the annoying pandemic crisis.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:o.supreme wrote:aronjlove wrote:I've done a single pre-order with them and will never, ever do another. while it certainly has some impact, i think it was Chosen Prime or someone else had them a month ago, people have had their figures for a month. They completed him a month ago. Same with Burning Convoy, people have had him in hand for weeks, and Pulse has shipped them out too. Why is it that they are behind even Pulse, who has proven terrible with delays?

My guess is, their shipment recieved may have not met their pre-order quantities, and for some reason they're not canceling? I can't imagine they found a *slower* boat than the one Hasbro used. Some of it could just distribution/port/fraight issues... but yeah... a month lag is crazy. Especially when Amazon JP can shoot things over in 3 days.

I do think it was strange that they packaged "the rest of the team" with the "power masters" but I suppose considering the alternative was 2 individual w packs... I can see why they wanted to shoot for a $20 price point.
Makes me wonder if the eventual Blaster Casettes will be handled the same way. Also surprised we didn't get Enemy and Howlback since they got MP releases...

Yep, just like the other bat has a different face from Wingthing. Both of Doubledealer's partners have been givem appropriately retooled heads.

It's cuz the Rumble mold is part of the same mold as the Ratbat mold, and the Ravage mold is part of the same mold as the Laserbeak mold. If they do Enemy and Howlback in the same release, they'd also have to do a Laserbeak redeco/retool (which could be Buzzsaw) and a Ratbat redeco/retool (not many remaining candidates for that).
