I do think it was strange that they packaged "the rest of the team" with the "power masters" but I suppose considering the alternative was 2 individual w packs... I can see why they wanted to shoot for a $20 price point.
Makes me wonder if the eventual Blaster Casettes will be handled the same way. Also surprised we didn't get Enemy and Howlback since they got MP releases...
Howlback's never gotten an MP release. She has her original figure, and the recolor of TR Ravage that came out in the Bumblebee movie line... and that's it for her so far.
Also, why haven't we gotten a Buzzsaw? We've gotten all Soundwave's other minions.

We'll get Deathsaurus.
Tigerbreast from Ravage in yellow and black with Buzzsaw from Laserbeak in yellow and black.
Eaglebreast as a Ratbat retool in red and black with Enemy as Rumble/Frenzy in red and black.
This lets them follow the basic gangmolding rules while getting Deathsaurus his partners and Soundwave the most essential two of his.

If we do get this, A) I'd be soooo stoked for Deathsaurusand B) They'd probably do it as another 4 pack so that both of Deathsaurus's and Soundwave's minions would be in one pack. Either way, I think it'd work really well. I think Tigerbreast would have to be a new mold because Deathsaurus would end up with either a fake Tigerbreast part on his chest, or it'd be some awkward attempt to attach it to the Ravage remold.

Well, not necesarily. Remember, MP Star Saber's Brainmaster was tiny and Star Saber's as tall as a CW Combiner. Plus, the Titanmaster only really needs to work with Saber, and they could do something like what they did with the leaders and have Star Saber's head be a helmet for the Titanmaster that you plug it into, or they could have it so that Star Saber's helmet is a full head on it's own, and the Titanmaster just sits in Saber's cockpit when combined.
Alternitavely, they could do what POTP's did with the leaders, but at a larger scale. Have Saber be a Voyager sized figure with a Matrix style holder for the Brainmaster to slot into, like with Razorclaw and Onyx Prime. Then, the trailer section makes up the rest of the Commander pricepoint. This would avoid a Titanmaster serving as the head, and allow for transformation to be a bit easier.
Though, I really only see Star Saber and Deathsaurus coming in the mainline as his own mold and as a leader class sized figure because they already have the design for that (and also Arcee and Hound as Primes, which honestly I wanna see in Selects just because that would be interesting).

Edit: Yes, I know, I'm obsessed with BW Megatron getting a figure in CHUG.

Given credible rumors of Fire Convoy and Siege Magnus being 50% RiD Magnus (honestly, they could retool him the rest of the way), I could see RiD Megatron from Deathsaurus.

That would require some major retooling even if he lacked all the extra modes. And since when do we have Fire Convoy rumours?
Bounti76 wrote:So, I emailed TFSource asking about their delays for the Seacons, and the email I received in reply didn't answer why there were delays... but did state that they'd received a shipping notice, and that their figures should be in the warehouse within the next week. So that's a bit of good news.

Even has a similarly "beaked" helmet.
You say that, but Bruton was twice almost considered for a nearly-made Fun Pub toy (the two proposed molds were FOC Grimlock and Prime First Edition Bulkhead).Skritz wrote:Man, if s Destructon ever get a toy it will be the day pigs fly.

Yep. I was there (and did not raise my hand at the time).Skritz wrote:Sabrblade wrote:You say that, but Bruton was twice almost considered for a nearly-made Fun Pub toy (the two proposed molds were FOC Grimlock and Prime First Edition Bulkhead).Skritz wrote:Man, if s Destructon ever get a toy it will be the day pigs fly.
Yes and the story goes they asked people if anyone knew who Bruton was. Only one or two raised their hand, showing why not to make it.
