As a owner of Astro Magnum, I'd love to have Galactic Man Shockwave.
But I have regular Shockwave TWICE already (1 open, 1 sealed) and that Select now cost a fortune...

Funny thing, end of last year when Gamestop shipped Cyclonus early, I was able to get Galactic Man at 20% off. I kept hoping to see regular Shockwave discounted since he was everywhere but never did. This was the next best thing.

I know.
But that would be triple-dipping on the Shockwave mold for me. Plus not only it's the full leader price, this here Canadian would have to play another 50$ in shipping and custom fees.
So, nope.

As for me, I'll be happy with the regular kingdom galvatron that comes in from Amazon on Wednesday

The source from what I could find was TFRadio, which claimed the source is solicitation stock photos for sites. Might mean it'll get revealed tomorrow for a TF Tuesday.
I will say, I rather like the colors. The green matrix is a neat reference, but not one that I particularly care about sadly. I might get this guy, but it'll depend on funds and such

Re: Transformers Generations SELECTS Series Discussion
I'm planning to use this as a Marvel version, but it'll need more customization. I can't complain, as the rumors always said it was going to be based on the toy, I just didn't realize how many differences the comics design had from the toy. On the plus side, I won't need to get mad about misapplying the stickers, because I won't need to use many of them.

This looks fantastic! I’m ready to double dip on this mold to have a Galvatron II on my shelf, just as soon as I’m able to single dip on the mass retail version of Galvatron.

Seriously, I don’t know if Kingdom Galvatron is even out in the Twin Cities area yet. I keep finding Ultra Magnus, but that could be from Leader Class wave 2, as sometimes there is a Beast Megatron or two also on the shelves. At least I was able to find Rhinox and Dracodon last Friday.

I just saw on the listing that he's gonna be coming with rubsigns! That's a pretty neat inclusion, especially since the stickers are customer applied. Personally, I'm not gonna use the rubsigns on this guy, but I'll probably use them on a different figure down the line

- Motto: "'till All Are One"
We thank AcademyofDrX for sharing with us a listing of none other than the biggest Transformers Generations Selects release of the year, toy deco Galvatron. The full listing with descriptions and photos was found on the website of my local specialty retailer, CMD Store. To go full G1 toy effect, Hasbro went stickers galore on this release.
This is not an exclusive figure, any retailer wanting to order it can. The places most likely to order this toy are online collector focused stores.
Name: Galvatron WFC-GS27
Category: Transformers Generations Selects
Series: Leader Class
Type: Action Figure
Size: 8 Inch
Manufacturer: Hasbro
Description: Fans can take their Transformers figure collections to the next level with Generations Selects, a fan-dedicated line of figures featuring fan-favorite, special edition characters you can’t find in the main line.
Behold, Galvatron! The herald of Unicron blasts his way into the Generations Selects line with this special edition figure! This Galvatron figure is inspired by the classic 1986 toy release, featuring comic-inspired deco. No interests in this one, but I'm very happy it's an actual thing.
AND NOT A DAMN EXCLUSIVE!
This mean most fans will not only have their ideal deco, but he will be easy to get as well.

The colors (that aren't toy accurate) seem to highlight why the figure looks bad in the first place, ah well, TR and g1 will suffice until the next one.

One of the best things about the current line has been the lack of stickers. If those were tempos I'd get this one. But I really hate those foil stickers

Yep. That would be why it looks so needlessly garish. I'd have expected better from HasTak. How hard is it to get this wrong?

When 3P can do it so easily and on a much smaller figure:

I think it's worth pointing out that there are a few problems with "comic accurate," including that while the pylons were usually grey-blue, they were sometimes red, and they were much smaller than in this mold. I think that grey-blue was usually supposed to represent chrome or a metallic sheen, rather than actually being blue. Maybe most significantly, you see a few different designs across the US and UK series.
Ultimately, I think they tried to split the difference between the toy and the comics. That's why I love the inclusion of the foil stickers sheet--if you want it to look like the original toy, nothing else will get you closer. If you want a comic or contemporary design, just toss the sheet. I'm a big fan of the UK comics and I own the original toy, so I can appreciate both goals. I have a Marvel villains collection already, so that's the way I'll display mine.
(Generations Darkmount, Generations Select G2 Megatron, RotF Bludgeon, Generations Thunderwing, SDCC Ratbat, Marvel Infinite Death's Head, and a Siege Megatron I need to repaint. Siege Shockwave is usually with other displays.)
