These were not available at standard retail price?
They are standard retail, unless you are trying to compare them to a standard PotPie deluxe release from last year, which would have been a couple bucks lower.
More like right now! Just got notified about both coming in stock.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Yes.Wolfman Jake wrote:Anybody else still waiting to hear from TFSource that Red Swoop and Ricochet are in stock and ready to ship at last?![]()
Same. newsletter this week said they are arriving this week though

There is no sense in that, the standard deluxe price point has changed to match that of movie lines. I dont understsnd wjy osupreme, or anyone, would expect more than retail quality on these retail priced toys. These are exclusive, but by no means premium.

I'm glad to have them I guess, but one of my combiners will always have a super floppy arm, and leg that can barely hold its own, as long as you don't touch it while being *fiddly* propped up...
Which joints are loose exactly, and what type?

Because in my mind, if something is exclusive, it should be premium (i.e TR Arcee, Grotusque etc...). If Hasbro is going to half-ass something, there's no reason why it shouldn't have been released as part of the standard PotP line if there's nothing special (or "SECLECT") if you will, about them.
Maybe I just got bad product... But it will make me think twice about getting anything further in the not-so-selects line moving forward.

will, just because you don't agree with his view doesn't make him wrong. In this subject my way of looking at it falls somewhere between both of your views, but I won't say you're wrong for it. He looks at exclusives a certain way and expects certain things with products labeled "exclusive" or "select." That's his choice. However, I do agree that more often than not he will be disappointed.william-james88 wrote:o.supreme wrote:william-james88 wrote: I dont understsnd why osupreme, or anyone, would expect more than retail quality on these retail priced toys. You should really stop thinking that way because its both wrong and will always dissapoint you. These exclusives exist to give fans more product without relying on standard retailers who already have enough of the line to order. And thats it. As someone who was hoping to complete your combiner teams, I thought you would understand, especially since you saw the benefits of shorter lines. It's basically the same as POTP Wreckgar, TLK Hot Rod, BH Skylynx, SS Thundercraker. All these toys are not more premium than any retail release, its just that they arent available at all retailers. And most fans seem very happy because it means the price tag isnt higher compared to fun pub exclusives and the like.

The paint apps on both are fine, no complaints there. However When holding both Ricochet & Jazz in hand, there is a noticeable weight difference. Ricochet almost falls apart in hand, and as others have noticed, it is a real pain to get either of them to stand up on their own.
o.supreme wrote:It was probably my initial disappointment that caused me to choose my words poorly and I apologize.
However...All those examples you stated above I DID see in retail stores except for TLK Hotrod, because of poor distribution. They may have been exclusive to a retailer, but I could still get them. Where else, aside form a handful of websites, can I get Ricochet or Red Swoop? And where for less than $22? Certainly not Hasbro Pulse.

Because BBTS had bad gotta ship it now and your **** is in stock timing, I don't have Ricochet yet.Wolfman Jake wrote:Do you have access to a sensitive enough scale to see if this is actually the case? Some pictures of the figures on a scale with the readout visible would help. I'm curious if these were actually made with lighter/less dense plastics. Going by "hand feel" to estimate and compare weight is notoriously difficult, and your perception may very well be influenced by disappointment.o.supreme wrote:However When holding both Ricochet & Jazz in hand, there is a noticeable weight difference.

I'm a sucka for the og trio of seekers, so I'm all in for blue guy and purple guy, but if red guy looks anything like this...D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Ya know, I think I'm gonna pass on Thundercracker too, and just get Redwing and Skywarp. I'm glad we are getting a new seeker too, at least to the general public.
