ZeroWolf wrote:Hmm $60 + ($35 x 5) = $60 + $175 = $235... BEFORE taxes and shipping (shipping could be determined by where you're getting this from)... For comparisons sake, how much was Studio Series Devy again?
These do look awesome though and fitting for the seacons.

I think everyone here knows we are looking at about a $250 combiner ($40 per limb x 5, $50 or $60 for Turtler)ZeroWolf wrote:Hmm $60 + ($35 x 5) = $60 + $175 = $235... Studio Devastator is $260 retail pre-tax and shipping for comparison

I hope to primus and all that is is righteous and holy that his joints are all tight enough to handle the weight of these new figures, because, oh man, hungurrs' were not
I mean, that's nothing a tiny bit of paper towel can't fix, but hungurr's crappy shoulder ratchets? No way, bum shoulders are permanent cuz hasbro pinned his entire body together, so you can't mod or fix it, which means, he can barely stand on his own, let alone strike a pose

But that's because, along with 2 Deluxes ($20 x 2), it's made with 4 Voyagers ($30 x 4) and 2 Leaders ($50 x 2).
Plus, SS Devy is made of 8 figures, compared to Piranacon's 6.
Value wise, Devy may be much more worth it.
But King Poseidon is looking awesome, and I will be keeping a close eye on this release.

Oh, I'm not saying King Poseidon is worth the price more than Devastator. I agree that Devastator is worth more for the price in my opinion. But King Poseidon is still really cool and I'm looking forward to owning the last of the scrambles

You just saw photo confirmation of that, did you not?

D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Ordered Redwing and he's on his way. Figured he'd be on the Target bill for September no matter what and either the seeker 3-pack or the Micromasters will make the coupon themselves.
Looking forward to him, I love the paint work and I'm looking forward to seeing how good the mold is.
I'm hoping he's good, cause I plan to get 5 of that mold, and if he's good enough, maybe I'll hunt down Scream and get TC when he comes out too
JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Anyone seeking Red Wing may want to hold off on getting a Target Red Card and ordering online, because lookie what I found at my local one:

And get this: it scanned like a regular item:
It's the Target on Towne Crossing, the corner of US 75 and US 380 in McKinney TX.

At the very least, we can probably look forward to a God Neptune from Takara if King Poseidon does well enough, since they eventually made Baldigus out of their Bruticus.Stargrave wrote:I’m seeing the next many years populated with repaints and retools of these molds I mean there've been so many versions of this toy, each with very unique origins.
One cool thing about combiners is they’re at least a layaway purchase by design
