Reminds me of CW Groove
I was always skeptical of BBTS and TFSource (and others) indicating February, when entertainment earth the official outlet for the US had Swoop in March and Ricochet in April from the beginning. I originally pre-ordered through them, but cancelled and went with BBTS since they would still be cheaper paired with Big Powered for the $4 shipping than entertainment earth's shipping price. April will be a good haul month.
I'm actually more surprised we haven't seen any in hand images of Ricochet and Swoop. I really want to know if the grey plastic on Rwoop is going match the rest of the PotP dinos. The images we have makes the grey look off to the point I canned my pre-order.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:I'm really surprised that Ricochet and Swoop aren't out yet. The lack of gold under paint is my number two reason for not getting him. I considered trying to mix and match parts to make the ultimate Swoop, then I decided to save $22.TF-fan kev777 wrote:I'm pretty close to cancelling mine as well for Rwoop. Getting them all is the hardest habit to break. The second hardest thing is parting ways with old toys.william-james88 wrote:Oh man, this is something I have to let go of as well. Obviously, toys in general are not a necessity but it's something we all love here. But within that there are definitely toys which are less necessary than others and won't add as much to my enjoyment and I have to break free of that (especially since that incremental enjoyment comes at the cost of both more money and loss of space).TF-fan kev777 wrote:carytheone wrote:I'm actually more surprised we haven't seen any in hand images of Ricochet and Swoop. I agree and it's barely worth the money, but all that glorious space! Just to be filled back up with more plastic. That is a definition of "the struggle".william-james88 wrote:Also something I will be doing. With the new lambos, there is no need for my classics ones. I was thinking of selling my older classics toys and titanium toys (ie seekers) as well as some superflous Unicron trilogy stuff. I wasnt sure but my little boy sat on my classics hound the other day, destroying it's pelvis (the toy, not the boy), so that made it a simple solution. But now i have to go back and find the instructions and all the correct missiles from the bins and binders, all for 10$ at a time. Not the most fun of work.carytheone wrote:Getting them all is the hardest habit to break. The second hardest thing is parting ways with old toys.

I find that selling a lot of stuff on ebay and such is like taking on a part time job. I have a box of stuff that I need to tackle, but having a hard time with motivation.

Sadly I think the answer is, yes. Great figure, fun deco, but I really didn't NEEEEED it.

All great justifications J-Dawg! I can say he is the only CHUGish G2 Megs I have, and I'm happy to have him squared off with TR Laser Prime. But it was definitely a case of, EWW! Gotta get 'em before he's gone!!! I didn't even think of the why.Wolfman Jake wrote:Cobotron wrote:Weird! I was just looking at Arctic Megs this morning thinking, Did I just buy that to buy that? I feel similarly about "Combat" Megatron. I didn't really need him, but I still bought him. I can rationalize that a bit, at least, to calm my sense of buyer's remorse and avoid uncomfortable cognitive dissonance. He was only $29.99, the price of any other Voyager Class figure at regular retail, so I didn't pay a premium for a special edition figure. I can complete a "Generations" display of G2 Megatrons, each with one of the unique Megatron decos from the era, each with it's own unique tank mold and transformation. I've also bought into free shipping with Hasbro Pulse for the year, so I can justify ordering figures from there in the future if desired, especially if more interesting exclusives are put up there in the coming year. Finally, it was nice to participate in the inaugural exclusive offer from Hasbro Pulse as well. I feel I'm showing my approval of Hasbro's new venture and attempt to serve the adult fan community with my wallet. I liked getting that little "thank you" postcard with my purchase signed by John Warden. It's a nice little keepsake.

But shouldn't that complete your combiners? Swoop, Ricochet, Lancer, and Greenlight are 4, and if I am reading your picture right, you need 4. So where does the need for the last limb come from?
Last year at RoboCon, Pete was selling leftover samples of past Fun Pub exclusives, which included some unpainted and unstickered preassembled custom class Medix figures (which were basically just First Aid figures molded in solid white and black plastic). I myself wasn't able to get one, but I'm fine with that since I plan to replace Medix with a stickered version of TFSS Smokescreen (making him look much different and Diaclone-based from the non-stickered TFSS Smokescreen I have for my Wreckage) for my own Modulus.o.supreme wrote:Well for a while, my Optimus Maximus was complete, using SG Starscream, however since I have this impossibledream now of trying to complete an actual Modulus, then I had to take SG Starscream away from Op Max (to be replaced with Red Swoop).
