I'm thinking that if we get an earth mode Magnus like rumors are calling for next year, we'll get a Delta Magnus out of him for selects next year, to add to the diaclone army.

I've sort of wanted Cordon after discovering in his stories he got that he was paired with someone named Miko, based on the Prime character, and that is enough for me to want him. I can get another Miko partner!

Yes? We don't have any leaks or anything backing them up, we just know that one of the designers during one of the Fan First Fridays strongly hinted they were coming to complement Pounce and Wingspan when asked, and that's how we got confirmation of ER Snapdragon last year when Apeface got announced, so right now a lot of people are speculating that they're going to take up that missing ER number slot (E28).

The Cook with the Battlefield Promotions AND a Countach Dragster Police Car? Done and ordered. Gimmie! I have a close relation to Spinout, I worked in a redtaurant and was "last man standing" so I got all the responsibilities... And the blame. Nobody died though... That I know of.

Spinout is the best Lamborghini Transformer in the franchise, just a cooler and more relatable character then Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Red-Alert, Tigertrack, Deep-Cover, Clamp-Down, Cordon, AOE Lockdown and whoever else exists.

Hmmm...I'd be excited for another combiner of course. The only other Dinosaur team I can recall off hand is the Dinoforce, but I don't see TT doing it unless it was accurate. Perhaps like Victorian to Megatronia, they will take the PotP Dinobots and make new characters from them.

For me personally I don't think TT would waste a new combiner on G2 or SG as those concepts are not really popular in Japan. Early in PotP we saw some hints at pretooling for members of either Dinoking or Monstructor. I hope this comes to fruition, or a new character. In any case, to date TT has not disappointed when it comes to reveals.

Plus, the eyes are blue. Volcanicus has red. Personally, I think it might be interesting to see what they're planning, cause didn't Takara say they were taking a break from combiners for a bit?

The visor is definately Dinobot shaped. The teo vertical fins could be the spikes on Volcanicus's head. But I dobt see them doing that and with the all but confirmed 86 Dinobots why would TakTom waste a slot here? Who could Volcanicys be?

The text on the picture (my phone is having a hard time translating it, but it keeps coming up as "field warrior returns") and the translated Japanese comments seem to indicate that it's an improved Volcanicus.

Hasbro may be all the talk when it comes to Selects right now, but Takara Tomy is kindly reminding us that they make Selects, too! Thanks to tips from Seibertronians Powered Convoy and Sabrblade we've been alerted to a new teaser posted to Takara Tomy's official Twitter account. While the only text is a simple "coming soon" and a picture that appears to indicate some sort of return, its hard to ignore that we're looking at the silhouette of Power of the Primes Volcanicus, the combined form of the Dinobots. While we can at least guess that much it's hard to guess why the sudden interest in revisiting the character and if they intend to make any changes to make it worth replacing a set that most of us completed just over two years ago. Especially when we've seen several leaks indicating proper Leader class G1 Dinobots coming in Studio Series.

Takara Tomy is usually pretty good about no making us wait too long after making teasers like this. But in the meantime feel free to speculate away in the Energon Pub Forums on exactly what you think we're getting, be it G2 colors, an improved combined form, or additional weapons. And of course you can expect us to pass along the updates as we get them!

Possible recolor into Monstructor / Dinoking? Honestly, I can't really see any appeal into repaint into G2 colors if that's what they are doing.

Guess we will see in time. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the fact that the Hasbro releases aren't over priced lol

It's probably those characters, I feel like it's more likely as a Takara Selects release then G2 Dinobots (if anything I expect G2 Dinobots from the Studio Series 1986 versions) because Takara

I saw this mentioned in comments on Twitter for the picture and I just don't find that likely at all. This is Takara Tomy, not Hasbro, simple repaints aren't going to cut it to turn Volcanicus into Dinoking. I think it's still Volcanicus, but for TT to say it's worthy of being a Selects figure and not just some random exclusive it's going to have some extensive retooling done to it.

Price-wise he should cost roughly the same as God Neptune.

That or Diaclone colored. Either way if it's just Volcanicus I'm not interested. I'd rather see other things they teased ages back that havent been revealed like the MP Raiden (not that my wallet wants to see that reveal) and MP rattrap or how thye plan to release Armada Prime before thrid party beats them which is unlikely with Naval Commander around the corner.

Imagine a heavy retools of not only PotP Dinobots but also with a mix of Terrorcons. All to make a moder Monstructor. That could be freaking bad-ass! Especially if the dinky torso Grimlock get fixed to be bigger and more stable.

Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user, Hokutron, has let us know that fellow Seibertron user, and YouTube toy reviewer, PrimeVsPrime, has now given us our first English language review of Takara Tomy's highly anticipated, Transformers Generations Selects Super Megatron!

This figure is a heavy retool of Titans Returns Voyager Class Galvatron. Super Megatron is the first toy version of the character who debuted in the story pages of the Battlestars: Return of Convoy portion of the Japanese Generation 1 line, following on from Transformers Zone. This was the toyline that gave us the original Star Convoy toy (that came with hot rod Micromaster) and the Sky Garry toy.

Yeagh mainly a joke but I could see them having retooling for pilot compartments and a full on Diaclone crossover as it would probably fit in well wth the current Takara Diaclones. Star Convoy was super lazy so I'm not expecting full on retooling into Dinoking but if it is, it will be nice to see.
