As for the original question, yes, he absolutely counts.

It's debatable. If you include all the Zone Manga there was probably enough material for a few more episodes. But if Transformers hadn't been winding down as a Brand, the toy lines for 90/91 even in Japan would have been more robust, and probably would have still been animated rather than downgraded to being told through Manga.

Season 4 of Transformers in most Hasbro markets was just a three part mini series. Season 5 was just a selection of episodes from the first 4 seasons and the movie.

In the interest of staying on topic, though, I have to wonder, with rumors of an Earthmode version of Sideswipe coming next year through some exclusive outlet and Earthmode Red Alert allegedly being the 2021 Walgreens exclusive, where does that leave Selects Tigertrack? Will he now get an Earthmode too?

I know the franchise doesn't like to go backwards, but I'd be absolutely excited for a Combiner Wars Sideswipe through Selects, since he' the only one of the 84 Autobot Cars that didn't get a release in this fashion.
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

Having gotten into the Kingdom beast figures more than I thought I would, as well as watching season 3 of Beast Wars, I would love it if Selects made a subline of Transmetal figures based on the main line releases. We need a TM Megatron, since we got Optimus in PoTP. We also need Maximal Blackarachnia.

Or at least give us a voyager or even leader Depthcharge.

Why not just get the OG depthcharge off ebay or any secondary market group online? Him loose would probably be the same we'd pay if Hasbro released him as a leader.

According to one of the yet-to-be-affirmed rumors, there are no plans for Black Zarak at this time.

Unless it's initiated by Takara Tomy, at which point a Hasbro leaker wouldn't be aware just like they aren't with all the other Takara Tomy exclusives Hasbro sells.

And I would love an updated Depthcharge (I have the original) just to potentially have one without a huge piece sticking straight off its back.

Black Rorichi was a Hasbro initiative? Weird.
But I can totally see Black Zarak as a Takara Tomy Mail exclusive. They could even pack-in Rorichi to overkill it.

Finally opened Selects (G2) Sandstorm today! Was my first experience with the new Seeker mold, gotta say not bad. It defiantly echos the Classics/Generations Deluxe but feels alot sturdier? The torso also isn't nearly as gap-y as some have reported and the neck torso hole in jet mode really doesn't bother me as i thought it would.

As for the toy itself/ The transformation is pretty simple but i appreciate how well it works. The torso locking in place, the legs collapsing and the unfurling twist the nose cone does are satisfying. The deco on my copy is also clean and sharp, just what youd want out of a dessert camo fighter jet.

If you want a conehead seeker this is probaly the easiest way to go right now, so if you can still get an order in for em, Id easily recommend

Agreed, G2 Sandstorm is a really cool seeker. The dark face and desert camo make him very unique.

Does anyone know if the Shattered Glass 2-pack is gonna ship on time or nah? I have the SG MP-10 and PotP Rodimus Unicronus at work and got a hankering for more mirrored goodness. The mirrored or dark counterpart trope in sci-fi is one of my favorites. Especially when they give a character a goatee

The Optimus Prime that comes with the Centurion Drone weapons pack is positively minuscule.

At first I though it wasn't there, turns out it was wedged in one of the guns empty spaces.

First Look at Transformers Generations WFC Deep Cover Figure

Postby william-james88 » Fri Jan 15, 2021 9:11 pm

Motto: "'till All Are One"
Do you guys watch Pawn Stars? Well one of their go to experts comes from Rogue Toys and those are the guys who put up a picture of a never before seen toy on their website just now. It is our first shot of Generations Deep Cover. Now there are a lot of rumours regarding this toy. It could be a Generations Selects release, it could be the one we saw listed for Netflix (although rumours say it is supposed to have Sparkless deco) and it may or may not be using the retool of WFC Sideswipe's earth mode. Granted, from the image, this looks like the Siege mold, but nothing is certain yet. All we know is we have another Deep Cover toy coming out, the first in 18 years, and the first one released by Hasbro. For those wondering, the original Deep Cover was an exclusive redeco of G1 Sideswipe from E-Hobby. Here was Sibertron's original article about the original release back in 2002: https://www.seibertron.com/transformers ... -down/485/

Enjoy the image!

What's supposed to be different about the Siege and "Earth" molds? It's just the doors that stand out to me as needing to be changed, but that could easily be passed off as avoiding trademarks.
