It's down in Olympia though and I'll be damned if I'm going to drive my 6 cylinder beast 80 miles one-way just to gamble on the figures being in stock by the time I get down there. There's close to 2 dozen Targets between here and Olympia and more if I want to start heading north towards the border so I'll try my luck closer to home. Those are darn nice looking figures and two that are on my "Must Have" list so I'm thinking tomorrow might be a good day to toss the kids in the car and do some local scouting around.

Call first. Give them the DPCI to see if they even have any Voyager Class figures in stock. If they do, have them direct you to toys. Once connected, have the person look for Blitzwing and Springer. If they say they have them, tell them you're on your way from wherever, and it's going to take awhile. They will hold it at the customer service desk for you. I've done this countless times.

Is it possible that they can do that for at least 24 hours? I'm about to call my local Target and ask if they have them in stock, but I can't stop by today, but I can probably stop by tomorrow.

All I can say is ask. I know they'll do it for a couple of hours, but I don't know if they'll do it overnight. EDIT: Call closer to closing time and see if they have it. Tell them you won't be able to make it in until tomorrow and see if they can hold it until tomorrow afternoon. They might just say yes. (I mean, since it's going to the CSD overnight when the store isn't open, I can't imagine it's that much trouble for them.)
If that doesn't work, call about 10:00 AM. They open at 8:00 but new stuff isn't stocked until about 10 or so.

I hit two Targets and a Wal Mart this morn with no luck... I am chomping at the bit to nab a Springer...
It's the same number for all the Generations voyagers. Individual figures don't get unique numbers.
Uncommon wrote:I picked up Springer & Blitzwing at my local Target in Boulder, CO yesterday. As soon as I grabbed them off the shelf I got out my phone and canceled my BBTS preorder.
Problem: After close examination I have concluded that my Blitzwing only has one face. Anyone else seen this?
Overall impressions:
Springer: Awesome design. The G1 sword always bugged me with its square cross-section. This sword on the other hand is really cool. Some of the pegs don't hold together really well in the vehicle modes, but overall it's great.
Blitzwing: Pretty good overall. The three faces were what pushed me over the edge and convinced me to buy, so I'm disappointed that wasn't there. The instructions are unclear and inconsistent. In particular, there's the issue of how the arms go in plane mode. Initially, it shows them curving down like in the photos, but the pegs don't fit. In later steps they're shown curving towards each other like in the tank mode.
With Masterpiece Thundercracker, the face-changing thing was also missing, but that was understandable because they made the head bigger to match the cartoon proportions, so the face-changing mechanism was replaced by a head-squishing mechanism so it could still be stowed in jet mode. I just wish someone had thought to update the instructions.
I don't know what happened with Blitzwing, though. The box and instructions advertise 3 faces, but they're not there.

The superglue trick worked somewhat ok and if you can ignore the shoulder issue, he's really solid. I love his two alt modes two. While his tank mode does not beat Animated's sweet look, the jet mode is really cool

The more dangerous variant of the Clear Nail Polish routine.

Since when did they get them in? It still says preorder on their site, and I haven't gotten anything about shipping from them yet.
