I picked up Springer yesterday at Target. I passed on Blitzwing though. I'm picky, and I just don't like his thigh to shin ratio. The long shins hurt the aesthetics in my opinion.

I figured out what was wrong with my Blitzwing. The three faces are in fact there. What's missing is the pin that acts as the axel for them to rotate. It also helps hold the head together.

I returned it to Target today. They didn't have another one to do an exchange, but given the famous shoulder issues Blitzwing has, I wasn't that sad. Plus I still have my Springer, which again is awesome.

The face-changing gimmick is kinda uneccessary and obnoxious anyway.

Going to Target myself today to see if any of these are in stock, but my main objective is to pick up Eject and Ramhorn if they're still there from when I picked up Rewind and Sundor yesterday.

I actually had the opposite reaction. I wasn't going to get Blitzwing, but the faces thing was the tipping point.

There have been several Springers come out in recent years but none of them were Triple Changers, not anymore this latest version features all three unique modes: car, helicopter, and of robot. That's a season 2 episode, and Octane debuted in Season 3.

If it's from a comic, I honestly have no clue. Target 2006, Marvel UK issue #88?

The code is universal for all Generations Voyagers. Keep that in mind.

The Target DPCI for Springer and Blitzwing is the same as the previous Generations Voyager Class figures. The number is 087-06-1378. Target will tell you they have the figures in stock regardless if it's Soundwave or Blitzwing. When these figures first came out, I still used the DPCI number to figure out where the figures were by asking the quantity levels. That helped me figure out which stores had which.

The Generations Two-Packs for Data Discs is 087-06-1379. I'm assuming that number applies to the Optimus Prime and Bumblebee 2 packs as well.

Finally got a decent Springer to add to my Neo-G1 collection. This figure and Blitzwing a well are great additions, I sure hope Hasbro releases a few more characters in this style/quality for the Thrilling 30 celebration.

Checked my local Wal-Mart in Dublin, GA and they had 4 Springers and 4 Blitzwings on the shelf.

TRU in VA Beach, VA @ Lynhavenn has both of them. They had two of each but I relieved them of one of the Springers for my colleciton. 2 Blitzwing and 1 Springer remain. Was shocked to see them there since they came in Tuesday, expected them to be picked clean. So I didnt pass on the opportunity to grab Springer when I saw them.

Just a warning regarding Blitzwing, I have had him for just a couple of months and stored him in tank mode. Some paint on his forehead has come off thanks to the nosecone, and the inside of the nosecone has yellow paint on it. This must be due to subtle expansion and contraction of the rubbery plastic, coupled with the tension the head spring is continually under. I also feel like the nosecone has stretched at the tab slightly.

This sucks. So in summary don't store this guy in either alt mode, whatever you do. And if you do,I'd recommend Jet mode because you can unclip the nosecone so it's not continually under tension. I'm pretty annoyed at Hasbro over this, what were they thinking! :HEADHURTS:
