Wheeljack's and Rodimus' bios aren't as bad, but they're borderlining.
Megs and Sky-Byte at least were given decency in their bios, but they put the wrong Sky-Byte in the pic. That bio is clearly about RiD Sky-byte, while pictured is Wings Universe (G1) Sky-Byte, who never underwent any of the events described in that bio.

No, Sky-Byte is as legitimate a choice as Waspinator was. He was a lovable character.Aluus wrote:So Sky-byte is this year's Erector?
I'm not pushing for him (as much as I am for Megs), but I will explain it. First off, it's no joke. Of all the characters to appear in the Robots in Disguise cartoon, Sky-byte became a fan favorite. He was a very likeable character, as he was hilarious and had a charming personality. He's another comic relief character like Waspinator, except with a little more of his head screwed on right. And thus, those who took a liking to him voted for him.TheForgottenTaxi wrote:Can one of the people pushing this Sky-Byte thing please explain the joke to the rest of us?
Um, EVERY single English-language Transformers bio has been written like that since 1984. They ALWAYS capitalize the important copyrighted/trademarked names and terms to show that they own them. It's what they do and have done for the past 25+ years.TheForgottenTaxi wrote:(Also, who the heck writes these things? They're nigh-unreadable, especially with all the random CAPITALIZED NOUNS.
Look again. it said "Rattrap", not "Ratbat".TheForgottenTaxi wrote:Since when is Rattbat Arcee's "great-nephew"? How could a Transformer even have a great-nephew?
In the Transmutate episode of Beast Wars, Rattrap exclaimed, "What in the name of my Great Aunt Arcee is going on here?!" It was meant to be just an in-joke to the fact that Susan Blu voiced Transmutate, but then a Fun Pub comic that took place post-Beast Machines had Botcon 2001 Arcee and BM Rattrap run into each other and have an awkward moment, as another joke reference to that line of his from before. Here, though, it's... not a joke.
Go watch the 1986 The Transformers: The Movie.TheForgottenTaxi wrote:And what does this even mean?
"Unfortunately, one time RODIMUS got in OPTIMUS PRIME’S way with disastrous results.")

He is one of the least liked characters in the TF universe, it isn't that funny a joke.
Blasphemy! To the gallows with all of you!T-Macksimus wrote:I'll vote for G1 Wheelie before I ever consider Sky-Byte. Seriously, who the slag even added that guy to the list???
My thoughts exactly.Dr. Heavy B wrote:Also, arcees bio?

Should be Frank Welker and Simon Furman.
