Titan would be way over the top. But if I remember the show, he was much bigger than his OG T-Rex self. So I think Commander class would be a perfect fit for him.
The commander class would have been perfect for Transmetal 2 dragon megatron.
Not for the people that would rather pay leader prices for a leader figure

Well, most of us would assume that the commander class version would be bigger than the leader class, hence calling it commander class. But hey don't worry you'll get your stubby little leader class dragon megatron who will probably looks small and impotent next to the other ones.

You're talking about 2 different Scourges (which is probably another reason they're using the Black Convoy name). Whifflefire means Cybertron Scourge who turns into a dragon to complete the 4 Planet leaders, the leaked Scourge was RiD.TF-fan kev777 wrote:Whifflefire wrote:If we're getting Metroplex and Override, Evac and Scourge should be somewhat likely in the near future too, I should think.
Scourge is in the plans according to the leaks, but I believe will be named Black Convoy to avoid confusion with SS86 Scourge.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

First-Aid wrote:Wrong Sourge. I think Whifflefire meant Scourge the dragon from the Beast Planet in TF Cybertron. But There is certainly confusion regarding all the Scourges.

In the immortal words of Homer Simpson, Doh!
Now I want a cybertron version too, so I can have the wacky misadventures of Scourge, Scourge and Scourge.

While Metroplex does look accurate enough to the original, it doesn't look as if they've actually improved upon the original toy in any way, they've just scaled it up. The vehicle mode still looks like a big lump of parts, and if he doesn't have Drill Bit or a Cyber Key, then that would mean this new toy actually has fewer features than the original toy did. I'm not attached enough to Transformers: Cybertron to bother getting this, even though I watched the show when I was a kid.

They could start a band!
Okay, I have to second the suspicion that we care getting Evac and (dragon) Scourge. We already know Override is coming and Metroplex makes two of the four Convoys from TF: Cybertron. And we already got an Optimus Prime remake.
The hard thing about these figures is that the toys were so completely show accurate, there's very little that can be done to upgrade them without compromising the cartoon accuracy. Armada was really the last series that the animation deviated significantly from the toys themselves. Energon and Cybertron both had computer-imaging and toy accurate models, even down to the transformations.
Whifflefire wrote:Look at what they did with the Beast Wars characters, for instance - Megatron transforms completely differently from the original, but nevertheless perfectly resembles the on-screen design.
