Not really and not like it matters since live action hound is more like a live action bulkhead anyway.
Slightly off topic, but people keep saying this and I just don't get it. The only things they really have in common are being fat and green. It's like saying DotM Sentinel is like a live action RID Optimus because they're both tall, red, and turn into fire trucks.
Then you just don’t get it then
But what don't I get?
It’s not the only thing they have in common. They have similar personalities. The prime version. Both yes are big and green but both are head strong, fierce and jump into battle and like the action, put that with how they look and they’re very similar. Intentional or not
Interesting. I've always seen Bulkhead as more of a "gentle giant" type character, but I'm admittedly much more familiar with him from Animated than from Prime. Thanks for the insight.
I get that I personally prefer Animated Bulky over prime but Prime Bulkhead is a solder with a heart of hold. He cares for him team and humans but he’s also a wrecker too. That’s why he’s here and like I said there’s a lot of similarities with Bulkhead from prime and Hound in the movies. It’s mainly coincidental. The people behind the movies admitted he was pretty much just an original character creation and a G1 name slapped on like most the movie characters but with prime still at its peak when AoE was released it’s not hard to draw similarities. I would say hasbro has done that with having bulkhead sharing an alt molds similar to hound and having a Gatling gun. I think the idea that Legacy bulkhead being a planned movie hound though is rubbish. Maybe is an earthmode hound came out in the recent years ware might be some gravity to it but I don’t hasbro wants to put the name hound on a character before they do a G1 earth version first. The similarities with legacy and live action are more an homage
