I mean, I said it that way because that's how Hasbro themselves described it in interviews in the past, when they talked about how some of the "non-G1" Legacy figures were outselling some of the G1 Legacy stuff and a bunch of people immediately tried to argue that simply couldn't be accurate.sol magnus wrote:Nemesis Primal wrote:Bomb-Burst looks great, I get that they did it by basically putting the whole alt mode on his back but I still find it cool that he basically changes color between modes.
Inferno is literally the only reveal of the day to have sold out so far on Pulse, this continues to bode well for non-G1 interest.
I think it bodes well for Beast Wars, not necessarily "Non-G1". I didn't pre-order him. Probably should have. LOL

In my area the only Legacy product that's sitting for prolonged periods of time are some of the Beastie Boys as you mentioned (although it also took a while for me to see any of them originally, they had empty pegs at my Walmart for them for a month or two) and a bunch of Galvatrons at my nearest Target. My Walmart is more swamped with Bumblebee Movie Soundwave than anything else, and my Target is pretty much just barren except for Buzzworthy/exclusives (but not the 4-pack, just individual figures) and the Galvatrons.sol magnus wrote:If they meant Bulkhead, well...what your area's situation on him. We're swimming in him (as we should be considering he's 2 per case) where you barely see Blaster. At Walmart the extra Beast guys are all sitting there.

Of course it would have been cool to have some form of a Cyber Key on the newer version. Perhaps adding the gold paint to the feet and a red paint to the wings on the weapon but otherwise not a bad representation.

Bomb Burst looks really fun, I am excited to add another pseudo-Pretender to the shelf. I am liking the robots right now, as a fan of the gimmick.
Megatron still looks iffy, but i will get him to fight PotP Primal.
I like Crankcase, still wish he had the IDW head, but he looks good. Excited for him specifically.
Wanted to share this pic, since Springer looks good here in this trio

Side note: Is Potp Primal an ok figure? I considered buying. Do you think a new one is likely to come out (I know the evolution integration sucks, but without it?)

I never got the retail Springer, only got this one because of the Marvel G1 comics colors with the Wrecker symbol. He is really nice in hand, I like him this way, glad I waited for this one.
PotP Primal is pretty good to me, I like it and have never disliked it. I don't think a new one will come in a while.

I regret having passed on the Amazon's PotP Optimus Primal Throne of the Prime. Now it's nope'd priced on eBay.

Try Mandarake he was in pretty much every retail store (Bics, Kindertown etc) in Japan at the time so hopefully it might not have had the price hike there.
