Close enough. We've had minor name adjustments before, it's not impossible. If it was G2 Wildrider, what's the "Robo" designation for? I'm inclined to think it's for "Robots in Disguise" like Scourge was. His designation, at Wal-Mart at least, was also his Japanese name, Black Convoy.Sabrblade wrote:Nemesis Primal wrote:"ROBO WLD RDR" (please be X-Brawn)The thing is, X-Brawn's Japanese name was Wild Ride, not Rider.Rodimus Prime wrote:I'm also inclined to think "Robo WLD RDR" might actually be X-Brawn, either a heavy retool or a new mold.

Well if it was G2 Wildrider, there wouldn't be a name adjustment. I'm still curious as to what the "Robo" is for.Sentinel_Primal wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Close enough. We also just got G2 Dragstrip/Shadowstrip though so I'd say it's more likely G2 Wildrider with him getting a name adjustment
The fact that G2 Dragstrip's name was adjusted to Shadowstrip is why Sentinel said that.Rodimus Prime wrote:Well if it was G2 Wildrider, there wouldn't be a name adjustment. Nemesis Primal wrote:...upon further reflection, this is absolutely too many figures, we either have 5 waves leaked or some of these are exclusives (I just threw these in here in the order they leaked, these probably won't be the actual wave breakdowns except for probably that first one):...I just noticed I forgot the PR on Dirge, but y'all get the idea.
I mean, they're a lot less likely to screw up RiD Prowl; do you really trust them with new toys of Animated at this point?Nemesis Primal wrote:However, Legacy Wild Rider is coming out right now, whereas SS86 Brawn will be coming out next year possibly very close to our potential X-Brawn, so for the purposes of not confusing retailers and making sure both figures get stocked, it makes sense to use the Wildride name for at least the listing instead of trying to have "Brawn" and "X-Brawn" in store systems at the same time.
ON TOP OF THAT, our listings also include Shadow Striker and a mystery Prowl....which means they could be doing all 3 RiD Autobot car bros next year between Prowl possibly being his RiD incarnation, "ROBO WLD RDR" possibly being X-Brawn, and Shadow Striker actually being her Universe incarnation as a pretool for Side Burn. Do I actually want that? No, I would rather get Cyberverse/IDW Shadow Striker and Animated Prowl (although RiD Prowl certainly wouldn't be worst-case-scenario), but I feel like the possibility is worth mentioning.
...am I not supposed to? I mean, regardless of if I "trust" them or not, they blatantly said at SDCC that Animated stuff is in the Legacy pipeline, so it doesn't particularly matter, but also I've never put a crazy amount of stock into how screen-accurate or accurate to the original designs new figures are as long as it looks good to my tastes. I already have and enjoy Siege GUOP, Selects Hot Shot, Legacy Arcee & Bulkhead (and will be getting Knock Out as soon as he shows up here), and Velocitron Scourge, and the only reason I won't be getting Armada Screamer is because I'm waiting for Thundercracker colors (although he is probably also the most accurate of these that I've listed). It would take massive missteps for them to get me to not want an Animated Prowl, and the only time that's come close to happening recently for me with a non-G1 character is Velocitron Override, who Takara stepped in and fixed so it didn't matter.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:I mean, they're a lot less likely to screw up RiD Prowl; do you really trust them with new toys of Animated at this point?
Oh we're in agreement that updating the brothers would overall be a good thing, I would love for the ride-or-die RiD fans to get some more love (especially after Velocitron Scourge came out off deco-wise). I just personally only care about X-Brawn and to a lesser extent Prowl when it comes to that trio, and I care infinitely more about Cyberverse/IDW Shadow Striker than I ever have or will Universe Shadow Striker, so I was just stating my preferences for what the currently-vague listings could end up being.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:And re-doing the Autobot Brothers - if they're going all the way with it - would be a good thing, considering they can't be reissued due to the molds being Swiss cheese. Like anything post-G1 that gets remade in CHUG they'd be something of a mixed bag, but hopefully skewing mostly towards positive.

As for other Legacy stuff, Jhiaxus was clearly meant for the SS86 Starscream throne.
Rodimus Prime wrote:Never thought of that. I was on the fence about Coronation Screamer, but that might just push me over. Or maybe I'll just try to snag the throne on eBay...
Most likely I'll concur. I haven't gotten many Legacy figures. I did get Jhiaxus and like him very much. We better get an Armada Thrust out of him. It's a no-brainer, Hasbro! As for the throne, it may fit Shattered Glass Optimus Prime even better. The colors would match as well.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Never thought of that. The throne is the only reason I wanted that Starscream. and Jhiaxus was who I wanted it for. He is still the best voyager to come out in Legacy, and better than any WFC voyager

"Capsule" is the term Hasbro uses to refer to exclusive sublines like the Walmart-exclusive Velocitron subline, the Amazon-exclusive Wreckers subline, the Amazon-exclusive Golden Disk Collection, the Amazon-exclusive Galactic Odyssey Collection (Amazon gets a lot of these), etc.RodimusPrimeUkraine1 wrote:Any theories for "TRA GEN LEGACY DLX CAPSULE"

Even if this was somehow possible despite the fact that Breakdown hasn't even been shown yet, this request sounds like an easy way for Wave 3 to become artificially & needlessly rare and get straight-up skipped by some stores.Sowndwave76 wrote:Now, fingers crossed Dead End gets released in October, and Breakdown around Thanksgiving!!
