The transformation is quite amazing but this section is ugly... I can't beleieve They couldn't resolve this part in a better way

I was gonna pass on the Stunticons. I really was. Then I saw Dragstrip for $11 at Gamestop and got him. So now of course I have to get all of them. Now, I still have CW Wildrider, as well as a CW Breakdown. So if I use them as legs (I remember seeing that CW limbs can fit on Legacy Menasor as legs, and it seems Legacy Breakdown won't be a Lambo) then I only need to get Legacy Motormaster, and Dead End OR Shadowstrip as the other arm and technically he'll be complete if not totally accurate. What to do, what to do...

It is a bit naff, isn't it? I hope that if I can add some various metallic and clear red and purple, plus some black, gold and (green for the eyes?) details, any "turdesque" aspects of this figure can be polished somewhat. I wonder if this is around the same size as the OSKO Legends sized 3P figure that came out? I believe they also made a Cryotek version too.

Shadowstrip won't work as the other arm, the connection points are different between the two so you'd need to get Dead End

The copy in that review is missing a piece that the final toy will include, going by all the shown official copies and stock images we've seen so far. Said piece covers up that obvious fist, at least from the front, not sure about the sides.

Shadowstrip won't work as the other arm, the connection points are different between the two so you'd need to get Dead End

Yeah I learned that since I made that post. I was gonna get Dead End anyway to be accurate. And I've seen pics and reviews of Legacy Menasor with the CW legs and it looks comically out of proportion. So I don't think my plan will work. I'm still getting the new Stunticons to go with CW Superion.

That's why it's always best to see official pics and video footage of TFs, prior to making any purchasing decisions. This could be just another "Kingdom Galvatron" again (with the supposedly odd proportions at the time).

Yeah the round tabs that are supposed to port in simply do not work, thankfully at least on mine, there is a *millimeter* of clearance for him to roll. But the plastic for the feet on WR feel the cheapest part of the whole figure and the only real downside so far

Transformers Legacy Beast Wars Inferno is now on shelves in China. Below you can see a picture of this toy and his wavemate Armada Starscream on a store shelf. A Baidu user bought the toy, brought it home and took many pictures to show us what this toy will look like when we get it in hand. Due to last minute deco changes, these are the best images of the final figure yet. We have him in bot mode and ant mode, as well as the instructions.

They managed to make Inferno look cute in bug mode...

That Inferno is amazing. Can't wait to get him on my shelf!

Even Rattrap? He seems to be the most notorious chrome shedder. All of my Transmetals are fine, except I recently took Rattrap off the shelf where he'd been for years and I was shocked to find most of his chrome had cracked and pealed.

Not sure I have Rattrap anymore. Would have to check. But Megatron (TMI & II), Primal TMI, Optimal, Depthcharge and Rampage are all pretty healthy looking. I'm actually getting a new spot for displaying figures sorted, so I'll have to catalogue what I still own.

ive never had any issues with my vac metal tf toys, except one. now a lot of the yellow paint has come off the chrome on tm cheetor, and all of the red paint came off the chrome on my super fire convoy, but the chrome itself is still perfect. Beast Machines jetstorm on the other hand... woof. he had a terminal case of metal flake dandruff.

now onto the real topic at hand. That inferno is awesome, though the way the new ant head looks on the chest still bugs me a teeny bit. That robot head though, chef's kiss. I will still be happy to have a solid inferno. My original came with all the translucent plastic ball socket joints pre-cracked

People were a bit worried when we got images of Legacy Breakdown in his combined mode since it didn't look much like a Lambo. But, now we have many new images of him in both his car mode and robot mode and the added spoiler accessory makes quite the difference. Let us know if this looks good enough for a Lambo alt mode or not. As for his robot mode, it looks like a definite improvement over the Combiner Wars Breakdown, which shows that maybe size isn't everything, you'll let us know your thoughts on the matter.

These images come from feedback on Shopee where this toy was available to order out of the box. So expect some video reviews soon.

So...... he's basically a retool of Wildrider, with a spoiler. I wonder why Hasbro decided to go with that instead of a new mold, like the other 3 limbs got.

A retool is fine in the sense that the transformation is the same so they can be legs, I just wish the grille was more Lambo like. I see they...tried, but I'm not all that happy with the result. The spoiler is helpful.

I agree, I too would have liked them to change the grill. It could have made a major difference to have both the front and back be different, while still reusing a portion of shared shell with Wildrider for the windshield and sides

Are we really surprised that this is a repaint/retool of Wildrider? Hasbro's cost savings/laziness is a little maddening. If they stay true to form they will most likely release a new molded Breakdown as a dang exclusive that will be compatible with this version of Menasor that will be horded and sold for scalped prices. If I remember correctly this would be similar to how they did in combiner wars version of Wildrider as a truck by a different name then actually brought out a more legit looking Wildrider later. Wish they could just stick the landing and not get lazy when completing a group. Cant wait to see what corners they cut on SS86 Snarl and Swoop. So disappointing.
